Default Tony Hawk video game soundtracks

Weren't they pimp? No, not that pimp. But I remember when I first got into music and realized that RATM and Primus were on those games.

Cool, eh?

I did get into some music through those soundtracks, but i felt hella cool when I realized I already knew most of the music on there. Great games too.

Primus was the best thing about that game. I'd always switch to that song, though I can't remember what song it was. Jerry Was a Race Car Driver? I think that's it.

There would usually 3-5 enjoyable tracks on a lucky game, then the rest would suck. Thats how I remember it anyway.

if you were cool like me, you'd have hacked it and replaced it with your own hot trackz

if were talkin purely game wise, THPS3 was and always will be the greatest... get off my board? why in heavens name would i want to do that...

Nah, the free roaming idea was the best thing to happen to the series.

EDIT: Oh yeah, soundtracks... I remember liking 4's best, but I was pretty musically retarded back then.

weeell, it was clever yes, but it was also the death of it

from there on it focused alot more on other things then just skating around and getting high scores, which is the bones of it

ever since THUG its all been silly, really

actualy, i did quite like THPS4, the only reason i preferd THPS3 is cos i played it solidly for years, and was an avid PC online gamer of it, and once THPS4 came out it ruined the online community, because up untill then there was no such thing as good online community with consoles, PC's were where it was at... then xbox live and whatnot' came along

dems' were the good ole' days, getting ridiculously long 30mill+ combos on the airport level, or being a complete n00b on that rio level that just kept circling around

THPS3 definitely had the most memorable soundtrack out of the series.

Couldn't be more wrong. Powerman 5000 and Rage Against the Machine alone blew all the other ones out of the water.

Basically. They used Melvins' 'Sweet Willy Rollbar' in a recent one. Very cash.

I remember the one song from, THPS I believe, and it had this line that said "When worlds collide." I always found it really catchy when I was younger and would spend hours in front of the game trying to find the hidden tape.

I always just played my own music and muted the game. Magma probably isn't the best skating music, but it's better listening than, say, Jimmy Eat World.
