They have a lot of benefits including things like; better blood circulation, healthier skin/hair, cures depression, but most importantly improves testosterone and SPERM COUNT. So who wants to join me in dropping some massive loads? As of today I switched.
I've been experimenting with it for a while, in a cold pool during winter and cold showers during the summer. I still haven't quite gotten used to it but it has a shit ton of benefits, developing brown adipose tissue being one of them. I haven't noticed any shift towards massive loads though.
I've tried rinsing my hair in cold water, and I can't stand it. Even when I come straight in from 100-degree heat, I can't tolerate anything less than lukewarm water.
http://www.marksdailyapple.com/dear...hermogenesis-and-safe-starches/#axzz1wCpZyqRi Fucking good site in general for health, but if anyone gives a shit check out the cold thermogenesis part
I am not man enough for cold showers. It is extremely painful for me to breathe when I am in a cold shower, I think it's relating to my asthma. Cold lakes are the same way, it's basically like I am hyperventilating the entire time I am in them, I can't ever catch my breath. fml
I don't take "as cold as possible" showers, but they are cooler than lukewarm. My loads tend to be sizable enough to make any pimps around here very jelly
I take cool showers when the weather is hot, but I don't want higher sperm count. A new dilemma. Great.
What about for cleaning the crap out of your pores? And why are saunas so great? I think hot+cold is the way to go.
This. Also, if you absolutely cannot stand a cold shower, just exposing yourself to cold winter temperatures can accomplish the same thing. I try to wear just jeans and a t shirt in the winter time whenever I can get away with it. You acclimate pretty quick this way, and the benefits are the same as cold water immersion.
Fuck yeah! I take cold as FUCK showers. This is great news. (all though i'm pretty much bald, so it doesn't make your hair not go away)
I just got out of a cold shower. I started doing it a few weeks ago and haven't looked back. Its so much more refreshing than a hot shower. I'm sure I'll convert to at least lukewarm in the winter, but lately I've been putting it as cold as I can stand as I'm developing more of a tolerance for it
