I've seen tabs that he uses a seven string and others where the guitar has been dropped to a A tuning, or on a Baritone.

    So... What is it?

I thought he uses a 7 string for half the song, and a normal 6er for the rest

It's all played on a Silhouette bass (ie: a baritone) tuned to ADGCFA, apart from one of the solos, which for some reason is in standard tuning on a regular 6-string guitar.

GG John for writing the song in such a way as to make it incredibly hard to play live :tdwn

Duel-neck-custom Ernie Ball with one neck a 6 string silouette, and the other neck a standard guitar?

I don't think John would have a new guitar made just to play one song. Even though it is one extremely kickass song.

In that case, he shall have it made, and then use it constantly on the new album!

    Hows that sound?

It means we get more Blind Faith!

    GENIUS! GENIUS!! GENIUS!!!

Either way he could get that guitar free I bet seeing as its his own model If he asked they would definitely provide it.

I doubt it. The band doesn't seem to like the song very much :(

Actually, I've heard him play the final (insane) unison an octave lower, on the Silhouette bass. I'm still hoping they'll take this one out again on the upcoming tour.

Everybody seems to be begging for it. They'd better.
