Gonna be there. Can't say where exactly but apparently it's a small venue. I'm getting pretty hyped for this show.

It's not that near in the future, but I'm definitely seeing The Death to All Tour in Chicago in June. The closest thing I can ever get to seeing Death live, plus I get to see Gorguts again.

Julianna Barwick was phenomenal. And I was anticipating that Grouper would be continuing her current long-form ambient phase. It was still great, aside from some douche bags who felt the need to shuffle around alot or even converse while most were trying to get submerged in the ambient work, but I do prefer Grouper in a more focused form, with vocal work and perhaps some acoustic guitar.

I've spent hundreds of dollars on shows this year already so I'm just gonna buy my Sigur Ros tickets and probably not see anything else for a while.

Dammit I didn't see this post. I did manage to get 2 good vids though. I loved FTM's performance and absolutely love the growls he puts out. I'm sad I didn't record Rikki Tikki Tavi. I was too busy going ballistic over it.

Seeing a back-to-back-toback excellent evening of music tonight at good old Rockwood Music Hall: http://www.caitlincanty.com/ for 30 min, then over to catch Dumpster Hunter feat. Jeff Taylor and Mark Guiliana, and back to stage 1 for midnight set of Teddy Kumpel playing with Jojo Mayer.

NOT PAYING A SINGLE DIME FOR ANY OF IT (will throw a couple duckets in the donation bin) fucking new york city man. wilcaz, i know you're out in BK, but roll through if you got the time. t'will be lovely

Actually, I am moving to the upper east side this weekend. #ballin

consequently I am having to shell out several thousand dollars for rent, security deposit, and broker fee, so I won't be going crazy with shows anytime soon.

    However those are free...

it's all good, both Beat Music and Dumpsterhunter are having their cd release at rockwood on May 5th. DEFINITELY make it out to that shit. ($10 for both sets)

also May 2nd you have your choice of The Stationary Set at Pianos for free, or Now vs Now at Shapeshifter Lab for $10. Neither will disappoint

    Mark Kozelek - September 21, 2012.

This is the first time I've gotten concert tickets 5 months in advance lulz. He's the live act I want to see the most at this point so I had to jump on it. Incidentally, if anyone is going to be around Austin then or would like to be, jump on it.
