Pisses me off but they're not comin to Chicago. Those are the only dates. I'm going to the Boston show.
y'all should check out iTunes. They have samples of Pink Deluxe up now. Tragic Girl, Longtime Sunshine, Getting Up and Leaving, I Swear It's True all sound amazing and remind me why Pinkerton is my favorite album ever.
http://www.ticketmaster.com/promo/2pinml?brand=axp&extlink=EntertainDetail&camefrom=CFC_BUYAT_amex YOU STILL HAVE HOPE on the other hand, fuck florida, fuck my life edit: also pinkerton deluxe samples on iTunes. I'm not listening. I don't want to hear 30 seconds of tragic girl. I want to hear ALL OF TRAGIC GIRL
Got VIP tix for Pinkerton night. holy fuck. Meeting the band, being let into the pit before everyone else... watching them perform my favorite album in full... fuck.
I know. But I'm gonna be in the front row, gonna see Pinkerton live, gonna talk to the band before the show, get an autographed cd, litho, get a backstage tour etc So I am being raped financially but... I don't think I'll regret it.

Will have 10 tracks plus any bonus tracks. Rivers is calling this their "9th album" so I am hoping that these songs are fully realized and good quality. Rivers Cuomo - Alone III The Pinkerton Years (December 2010) Should be all the demos lacking from "Songs from the Black Hole" plus a bunch of other amazing stuff that hasn't been released. Overall a great time to be a Weezer fan.
Don't be skeptical about DTFM. Alone III is what you should be worried about. DTFM will actually have bonus tracks that date back to '93. Alone III is also coming with a book of essays, faxes and photos Rivers compiled from the Pinkerton years. That should be amazing.
Love how fast that is spreading. Also it's a shame this is happening for a band like Weezer and not Nickelback or Rascal Flatts.
yep. hearing that and seeing them perform can't stop partying on Lopez Tonight was the absolute lowest point of being a Weezer fan for me.
B.o.B is great, and that song is pretty sweet. The performances of Can't Stop Partying all look so dispirited to me, though.
HOT TUB. I played Hot Tub in the car with a friend the other day before we went drinking. all night we were yelling HOT TUB at random intervals. god damn I love Hot Tub.
Hot Tub kicks ass. You know what doesn't? The samples for Death To False Metal. Christ, I can't believe Rivers wants people to think of that as a Weezer album. ugh.
I listened to the sample of Trampoline and just Trampoline because I really wanted to hear it. TRAMPOLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE TRAMPOLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE
