Breaking news: Uri Geller is a magician fraudulently pretending to have supernatural powers. Randi and others have been pointing this out for decades, but it's always fun to see frauds exposed. Look at about 1:20 on this one. Uh...... As if it weren't already obvious that these magicians are doing tricks? Why the need to debunk?
Anyone with a brain cell can tell that Uri Geller is just making shit up. He may be a lier but I think he's also a nice enough guy, if slightly deluded, so I don't really want to watch him squirm on video. Having said that, James Randi is awesome.
Because there are people stupid enough to believe them. Geller and Hydrick weren't claiming to be illusionists, they were claiming to be the real thing.
