To hate Jews is to hate God. If you believe in the sacrifice of Jesus, then you must believe that God planned for it and set the conditions even before the earth was formed. If as most believe, the Jews were the cause of the sacrifice, then one must believe that God put the notion and desire to kill Jesus in the Jewish hearts. Jews then were God’s tools in carrying out God’s plan. Jews then should be venerated just as Jesus is because Jesus and Jews were required and caused by God to participate in the sacrifice. They were all doing God’s will and not their own. Jesus was a Jew and to hate Jews means that Jesus is also hated. The church has historically persecuted Jews and only repented for their actions in 2011 with the pope acknowledging that not all Jews should be hated. I asked a well-informed Jewish friend to comment before I posted this and this is what he had to say. Modern Jews and ancient Jews for one. I suppose you are concerned about modern Jewish opinion. Yes, some modern Jews are concerned that Christian Right support isn't for the best, that there is a hidden agenda to benefit Christian Right at the expense of Jews. Other modern Jews (particularly Israeli Right) don't care if there is a hidden agenda or not, they are happy to take anyone's support. These same cynical guys gave and took support from White S African racists (prior to Mandela liberation) and supported the White S African nuclear weapons program. Such people are typically atheist Israeli Jews BTW. Religious Jews generally distrust any Christians bearing gifts (they are Greeks of a sort anyway). Atheists Jews aren't particular, they will take support from anyone (see their behavior in the early Soviet Union). Modern Israel was founded by atheist socialist Jews (the Bund). Religious Jews prior to 1948 and some even prior to 1967 did not believe that Israel should be re-established, without the Messiah. Some religious Jews still believe this (Naturei Karta) and these Jews have cordial relations with Hamas. Such Jews of course would be anathema to the Christian Right. The Christian Right doesn't mind atheist Jews, because they believe all Jews atheist or not will be damned by G-d. Some of the Christian Right also believe that the Jews are not real Jews, only Gentiles are Jews (at least some are seen as such, such as the British Royal Family ... see Anglo-American Israelitism). Many Gentiles believe that modern Jews are of impure "race" anyway, or are even nephelim (angelic spawned demons). A good book on the death of Jesus (at least in literature if not in fact) is "Who Killed Jesus?" by John Dominic Crossan. Actually I would say that to hate anyone, is to hate G-d ... so some of the verses of the Bible are clearly not inspired, because hate is talked about positively at times. It is possible that some verses are meant ironically. The other thing your scheme implies is that of Pauline predetermination. Paul clearly went beyond predestination to predetermination. He didn't believe in free will, and pointedly talked about his lack of free will, and resulting lack of responsibility, in the beginning of the Epistle to the Romans. In no way did Jesus ever talk in those terms, but then Paul wasn't a follower of the fictional synoptic Jesus (aka a historical Jesus), but of a gnostic angelic figure (vision on the road to Damascus) more like the Johannine Jesus. I don't believe the idea of a realistic Jesus even occurred to anyone until after the destruction of Jerusalem, which was after Paul's death. The realistic synoptic Jesus was turned into the historical Jesus by Christian argumentation. The actual Johannine gospel came last, but its ideas were first, having been written in reaction to the synoptic Jesus, who was written in reaction to the Gnostic Jesus aka Avalokiteshvara and the Gnostic Virgin Mary (Prajnaparamita). I for one, will defend the character of Qui-gon Jinn to the death. As a character, he's in fact hugely vital. Yes, he only appears in one movie. But in that movie, he sets up the fall of Anakin by doing two things-He seperates the boy from his mother, and then gives the task of training him to his untried apprentice when he dies. I think that had he lived, things would have turned out differently, but the death of this man set us up for all that would follow after. When he was here, he was the Cool Dad, the guy who smote the monsters under your bed and showed you how to fish. Obi-wan was never able to step in and fill that parental role-at best, he could manage to be an older brother to Anakin, and we all know how sibling relationships are. Having a fully developed Obi-wan also makes no sense if you think that the version we had in Episode IV was the high point of that character's development. If you start him out as a full master, then he has very little room to develop as a character. Now, I would argue that perhaps there was a lot of development that we didn't get to see that would have helped. But I think I prefer Obi-wan's own journey from youth to experience, all things being equal. Regards
We can easily see from reading the Tanakh that all Israel (Israel and Judah) violated the covenant that they had with YHWH - they sinned. This was why Israel and Judah fell. The same is true with what happened during the execution of Yeshua. I don’t believe that “God put the notion and desire to kill Jesus in the Jewish hearts” as you say. What we do know is that sinful men committed crimes against Yeshua, a man that was not deserving of death (although some Jews would argue otherwise). Yes, YHWH knew this would happen and therefore it was predestined, but I would say that satan (possibly as God’s agent) put this notion into the peoples hearts, just as Judas was filled with satan when he turned Jesus over to the Jewish leadership. Jer 17:9-10 The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind [through satan], Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds. Also, what does YHWH say to Cain in Genesis? Gen 4:6-7 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it." Then in James it says: Jas 1:13-15 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. You see, it is only a wicked evil man that would think of or consider framing and then killing someone who is not worthy of death. I believe that it is possible that YHWH tested their hearts through satan as Jeremiah says and they were found to be full of wickedness and sin, but still they sinned. You talk about the Jews being used as tools to carry out God’s plans and that they should be venerated, yes I agree that the Jews are the reason that the Gentiles have any hope of salvation at all (Gen 18:18). It was through the Israelis/Jews being used as an example to the world that we can have a better idea of how YHWH wants us to live. The Torah, which came through the Jews is the teacher. I am aware of the pope's actions and the great sins of the Roman church. The Roman church has sinned against the Jews and many others as well. Anyone who is a believer in Yeshua/Jesus that wants to believe in what the scriptures say rather than what the Roman church says is a target as well as those who don't believe in the bible at all. I have personally had many run ins with pastors about this topic and generally, they don't want to repent. Many protestant christians have been persecuted and killed by the Roman church as she works to bring people back to the "mother church". I believe that the Roman church is a key component of the harlot that rides the beast as described in Revelation 17-18. The 1st century assembly (not church) was completely different than what we see today. The believers in the 1st century looked and acted more like Hebrews than anything else. It was during the reign of Constantine that everything got seriously messed up and "christian" believers were forced through the rule of law to accept worship that was a mixture of paganism and "christianity". This is why christians worship on christmas and easter, etc., which are totally pagan. Today the majority of "christians" look more like pagans than like bible believers. Also, the Roman church has fraudulently taken a position of religious authority that does not belong to them. Just as the Jews were brought down because of their sins, so will the "church" as part of religious Babylon be brought down as well. Matthew 23 was written to the scribes and Pharisees, and now the same can be said of the Roman church's leadership. I believe this is because satan hates anyone that represents God on this earth, especially the Jews. This is because he (satan) wants to have dominion over the earth through men, while God wants men to have dominion over the earth under his leadership. From my study on the situation that occurred in Nazi Germany there were a number of things that played into the degrading and destruction of the Jews and others as well (including bible believing christians). First, there was a population of people that had been fed lies, so they were unable to see the reality of what was going on. I believe the lies came predominantly from three sources the Roman church, Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine, and the government itself. The German people generally did not stand up against the atrocities that were being committed against innocent people because they were unable to identify it, they were deceived into believing that it was a good thing, because they were afraid to help the victims or because they felt helpless to do anything about it. The SS was the primary agency that implemented the death and destruction of innocent human lives. When looking at the SS in detail, it seems obvious to me that they were occultists. Their occultic practices could have been learned through either Blavatsky's teachings, or through the Roman church, which has its own occultic branch under the black pope/jesuits or both. What ever the case, these people fill themselves with evil spirits and summon demons to obtain power. By the way, Jews also have their own occultic branch and that is Kabbalah. I know of some who are funding the Jewish homeland because they have seen the errors of the holocaust and have seen what the scriptures say about Israel. Yet I have seen that there is a globalist agenda at work as well. It was the U.N. that reestablished the Jewish state. I believe that this is because of the agenda that the U.N. has to bring in a new world order, which anti-messiah will set himself up as king/priest. Yes, this is true. They wanted a king and a priest on the earth. Yeshua did not prove himself out to be a king/priest on the earth. He is only king/priest in the heavenlies at this time. I believe that the Jews will accept him as the messiah after anti-messiah comes into power and is then brought down. No, I don't think so. I think there are some who are funding Israel in order to bring about a NWO, one that they intend to rule over. Apparently, the Jews will accept anti-messiah's rulership until he proves himself to be a fraud at which time they will reject him. I have studied this out, but don't want to get into the scriptural references at this time, but YHWH will use all men to fulfill his purposes no matter what their motives are. First off, I don't believe that all Jews see the Tanakh as myth, but many do, just as many Christians see the bible as myth as well, of which I am not one that fits into that category. The Jews see the scriptures through Hebraic eyes, which gives them a better knowledge of the history and culture of the Hebrews, so they have an edge on the Christians who see the scriptures through their Greco/Roman culture. However, the Jews also see the scriptures through the Talmud, which I believe has caused error in their interpretations of the scriptures because of the traditions of men. The Christians have their own texts that do the same thing to the bible that the Talmud did to the old testament. This is why I seldom use either when I study the scriptures. One last thing that I think can play a role in accuracy of determining the scriptures is if one has a relationship with God. If he has relationship with God then he has the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) and the Holy Spirit can teach and guide into all truth.
