    Mods, you might sticky this.
I think it would be cool to keep a thread of links to the projects/websites/band pages/etc belonging to DTF members. this was done on 6r, and I like it. this way, we can all be familiar with eachother's musical endeavours. if you dig, reply with the following info, and I'll edit this post accordingly:

    My solo project:
    http://www.myspace.com/thejeraldexperience
    Computer, Keyboards, Bass guitar, vocals

The stuff on the page was all made by myself using a computer. I have three other songs as well. Just got done working with three other people that are actual recordings. Including a one hour song. :eek

My prog band, Tennyson (unless we find a better name):
    http://www.myspace.com/aduroaeris21
    Drums

Don't mind the url name. This profile has been recycled a couple times by the bass player.

My metal band, Before I Die (I don't like the name):
    http://www.myspace.com/beforeidieseattle
    Drums

This band is quite new. We have only had one real show. It is interesting because of the ages of the members. Brian- 26 (if I remember right) Ken- 24 Me- 18 Jeremey- 18 Curtis- 16

(don't mind the "Hardcore" and "Screamo" sections of the genre types. I don't know why our lead singer put that there. The only genre that he included that is a correct description of us is "Metal". We have no actual hardcore influences other than the fact that he screams a little bit sometimes.

Days of Ruin are still going strong. :\m/ You can now access our page through http://www.daysofruin.com. It currently redirects to the MySpace page, but a proper website will be in the works in the near future.

The band I'm in with two mates. We've got demo stuff, you can find links to it on that site. I play keyboards although there's not much of that going on in those demos. We're writing new stuff for summer and I'm a lot more involved in that. Also listen to GFY Drumline on the myspace, was totally improved with four people (myself included). Amazing fun.

Various 'solo' stuff. Fun thing about Curve is, if you play it on your mp3 player or in a set of good headphones and lie back and listen to it sort of loudly, it gives you a really weird sensation at the back of your head. Almost like a bubble inflating :D

    Re: DTF Musicians

Hax, a lot of shit just didn't work out and lead me to believe that the band was no longer worth the time I was putting in. I'm very busy, so it really has to balance out nicely for me to make a big commitment. It was a tough call to make since the songwriting was going more in the direction of the kind of stuff I actually feel compelled to write (more melodic, more prog, less brutal). Basically it was made clear that two of the band people would be deciding whatever they wanted on behalf of the rest of us (name, style, songs, lineup!), and we also lost our practice space. Communication was pretty bad too. It seemed the band was not going anywhere and it would need a lot of work to get the momentum back. Another aspect of it is that they want to get signed, tour, etc. but I am not really aiming for that, I just want to jam, record, play locally, and that's about it.

I'm trying out with some people soon... they just need a lead guitarist to round out the sound, and have all their stuff written, so as far as being able to committ what is needed, that might be cool! In my spare spare spare time I'm working on some old song's I've written.

I have two really cool songs I wrote towards the end of my days with Visciated that I think you'd like... melodic, complex, heavy! What's your deal playing wise, anyway?
