People really need to stop videotaping themselves doing shit like this. Not just because it's horrible, but because it's pretty much inevitable that they get their lives fucked over by 4chan.

i feel the same way sort of, but puppies are fucking cute. If i went to pet a chicken and it bit me or some shit, i would fucking punch it in its beak. But if a little puppy bit me i'd prolly laugh and say "awhhh". Many people have agreed with me on this.

Generally I'd agree, but most people that sociopaths would probably do the same deed in a more gruesome fashion. The method she used seem to be the most un-gruesome, which may support the idea of they had to get rid of them, and had no malice or pleasure in doing it. Either way, it's fucked up to watch.

I didn't watch, but I think I'd still feel bad if it was chickens or cows.

If it was the USA or England that would be easy enough, but in some countries where attitudes towards animals are different it can be difficult to get rid of unwanted pets.

That said, the fact that it was filmed and posted on the internet makes it significantly more fucked up.

Yep. It's ok for everyone to be outraged about this. It is quite disgusting, and young creatures being killed in such a way thus leading to such reactions is quite human. If you're going to kill an animal, then don't do it in a way that's torturous and/or exploitative.

But what kinda irks me is when the entire internet gets in an uproar about videos like this, but the uproar never quite reaches the level of when you might hear/see stories about humans being treated in similarly (or more) despicable ways.

If the internet got into an uproar every time a video or other evidence of humans being treated cruelly surfaced, the internet would be in a constant state of uproar. Because cases of people doing terrible things to other people are never ending and at some point you simply run out of the energy required to be outraged.

I think that we live in a sad time when every time one of these videos are posted it turns into a debate on why people shouldn't feel sad about seeing it (i.e. debates like I kill insects, people kill cows, people kill each other etc). I think you are a very sad person if it does not effect you and you are very sad if you try to convenience other people to not be saddened by it.

As for the debate it could be any animal being grossly killed, tortured or mistreated and I would find it disturbing. Of course I find puppies to be more disturbing than say sharks. But I think it is horrible when I hear about chickens being beat to death instead of humanly killed for meat.

Sometimes I like to convenience people not to be saddened by things.
