...I'm almost done watching all of The Thick of It episodes. Help me choose which show to watch next. I know pretty nothing about either one. But I've downloaded 4 seasons of Mad Men already, while I one have season one of The Wire.
Mad Men is damn awesome, but The Wire is basically the best show ever made. Out of Dramas, at the very least.
The Wire. While Mad Men is excellent, the quality of the supporting cast varies and it is occasionally a bit too on-the-nose. Whereas The Wire is the best drama ever. You owe it to yourself to watch it.
Mad Men. The Wire is probably going to ruin television for you, so get the soap operas out of the way before you know any better.
i'd say Mad Men. The Wire is a great show, but i wasn't as enamored with it as a lot of people seem to be. but The Shield is the best show to ever be on the air so...
This Though they're difficult to compare since Mad Men is still running while the Wire has finished. Also regarding the OP, is 5/8 growing sentinent?
The Wire is pretty much the best show ever so that one BUT you may enjoy Mad Men better if you watch it before because The Wire tends to make other TV shows look shittier. You can't really go wrong with either one, both are fantastic shows.
I voted The Wire before reading your comment, but I might agree with you now. I don't think TV will ever be the same since I lost my Wire virginity.
Might also be good to choose Mad Men because, since it's still on the air, people talk about it more, and you're more likely to have things spoiled if you wait on it.
