jarate is seriously the best item in the game. something like 30% of my playtime is sniper in 2fort and jarateeing is my primary vocation.

Haha, I knew this was going to start soon the minute that story broke about the guy in the HL3 shirt. I kind of get the impression they're going to dick around for a little while longer and then dump HL3 on us all of a sudden.
So I made the mistake of turning on TF2 this morning for the first time in who knows how many months. Pretty sure this is what heroin addicts feel like when they have a relapse after a clean period.
I know this is pretty much just the TF2 thread now, but I played the Ravenholm level the other night, in the dark, with headphones, in 3D and FUCK. Those god damn fast bastards nigh on gave me a heart attack. Even all these years later, even though I know where they appear I was still terrified.
Ravenholm is fucking terrifying, not least because I always seem to run ridiculously low on ammo around that part of the game, and end up relying heavily on scenery props to make kills.
I know 3D gaming is a bit of a gimic, but the first time one of the fast ones leapt at me I almost punched my screen. Complete fucking overreaction. Screamed. Woke the dag. Dag is now chasing cat. Fuck. In other news, I'm installing TF2 again. Fuck my life.
After reading the story behind the making of HL2, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if we heard nothing about HL3 until it was finished.

alright you got me. the following unlocks are not shit: equalizer kritzkrieg (situation specific) crusader's crossbow amputator (only because of the health regen rate boost when combined with the crusader's crossbow) ubersaw ullapool caber (banned in competition though)
Axtinguisher (+Degreaser makes it even worse) Phlogistinator Machina Tomislav Gloves of running Vitasaw That needle gun that gives +1% speed per 10% uber charged Wrangler Spy-cicle/ Eternal Reward Airblast(in certain pub settings) All straight up upgrades imo, on top of the ones you mentioned. Airblast on insta respawn is OP too. Random crits too
i forgot about the axtinguister and degreaser cause i don't play much pyro, yes they're good what the fuck is the phlogostinator, jesus christ valve the machina is good too the tomislav kind of sucks but when paired with the gru it's good i guess the vitasaw and the overdose are fine but aren't worth their benefits when you can use the amputator and the crusader's crossbow and get their bonus i forgot about the wrangler because it's banned on competitive environments spy unlocks are for children

Oh, cool. I've found the Team Fortress 2 thread on this site. TF2 is probably my favourite FPS game. I've been playing it on and off since it came out. I usually just play what ever class the team needs but I prefer soldier.

I usually just play what ever, to be honest. The only one I would go out of my way to play on is Knight's Social Club. I don't play on any server that has a capacity for more than 24 players though. You?
