Awesome haul, for The Snake the Cross The Crown. Can't comment on the first one, but Coldplay are decent and there is some great tracks on that, such as Shiver. Coldplay albums as a whole don't really work for me, but something like that has all the gems and none of the bilge. 4/5 As for me, a mainly 5/8 inspired haul: Rodrigo y Gabriela - Re-foc Cephalic Carnage - Xenosapien Augury - Concealed Apparat - Walls At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
I bought that FFAF album, and then gave it to the guy who worked at the guitar store, on the contingency that he gave me free strings. This was a necessary post.

Floating World is a solid 4.5, because there will always be something missing from there cd's...the live performance. 4.5 is as high as they can get, because i can't help but remember how fucking awesome they are live, and how the cd isn't as good as that. Blood Inside may one day acheive the coveted 5/5, but it's not there yet.

I've been meaning to buy Thrust for months now and have had Head Hunters for a year or so... My Haul: Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds- The Boatman's Call Badawi- Safe
can't agree more, and most of those were like $2-$3. Their Bargain Bins are gigantic, and even their std used prices beat Cheapo which usually gives you a great bargain to begin with ($2 for an Oceansize promo once for example)
I can copy Thrust for you if you want. I have the CD so you don't need to worry about the lossy nature of burning mp3 to disc.
Couple Recent Hauls combined: -Anathallo - Floating World -Andrew Bird - Armchair Apocrypha -Andrew Bird - The Mysterious Production of Eggs -Anekdoten - A Time of Day -Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Volume II -Cake - Fashion Nugget -Circle Takes the Square - As the Roots Undo -Electric Masada - At the Mountains of Madness -Ephel Duath - The Painter's Palette -Final Fantasy - He Poos Clouds -Into Eternity - Buried in Oblivion -Into Eternity - The Scattering of Ashes -Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam -Pig Destroyer - Phantom Limb What am I in for?
For the most part, a whole lotta awesome. Especially the Anathallo, Andrew Bird, Aphex Twin, Circle Takes the Square and Electric Masada.
My favourite Zorn release and one of my favourite albums of all time. And Zorbo: I don't burn or download CDs...It's about 14 dollars at JB, I'll pick it up eventually. How does it compare to Head Hunters? Superior? Same?
Thrust is often severely overlooked, as it was released after Head Hunters - which meant Thrust was a lot less shocking and superficially less innovative. It's excellent, but I think Head Hunters is better.
Skinny Puppy - The Great Wrong Of The Right Front Line Assembly - Civilization Solefald - In Harmonia Universali
Moar (I been goin' nuts lately, okay): -Frank Zappa - Buffalo -Fuzz Orchestra - Fuzz Orchestra -Javier Navarrette - Pan's Labyrinth OST -Jesu - Conqueror -Jesu/Eluvium - Jesu And Eluvium Split LP Vinyl -Redemption - The Fullness of Time (I'm mentally preparing myself for the shitfest I'm going to attend on August 21st, okay? I realize they suck.) -Sikth - Death Of A Dead Day -Spoon - Gimme Fiction -Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Alatt Született
I'd like to rate your haul deadwing, but i either don't like the album a lot or i haven't heard it. The best one is probably four trees.
