Holy shit, Welbeck sucks. He was the sole reason Manchester United lost that game.

wow when that woeful shot by Welbeck at the end led to the winner I was like why is he still even on...his decision making and shooting was dogshit.

Valencia was the only threat and even he wasn't that good

I'm not exactly sure what he brings to the table, especially as a lone forward. His overall link-up play is a little better than Chicharito's, but his finishing ability and movement are nowhere near close. He seems to be decent at most things, but not particularly outstanding in any areas.

Going out to a Championship side doesn't surprise me any more.

Guess focus will now be on top 6 in Premier League.

    Unlucky Kiwi.
We have a replay with Millwall. But we also have DAT RICKIE LAMBERT back, plus Tadanari Lee and Iago Falque so hopefully that'll boost us.

We were toothless in attack today. Shola Ameobi is almost a bigger joke than Andy Carroll. Seriously though, he's playing through some major hip problem, and it's showing.

Pardew's tactics were interesting, but ineffective. 4-2-3-1? Gutierrez is utterly wasted in the middle of those three. And Best on the left? What the fuck. We're definitely at our best while playing 4-4-2, which is mildly depressing, because there appears to be no room for Hatem Ben Arfa in that kind of formation. Unless they stick him up front and slightly behind a big striker.

    Fuck it all.

(i play a 4-2-3-1 when managing Newcastle in FM and it always works out well :psy)

    TRANSFER WINDOW MADNESSSSSS

we all know what happened last year (i was like [IMG] but then i was like [IMG])

actually looks like it's going to be a quiet one this year.
Newcastle will probably land Watford's Adrian Mariappa before the window shuts, but I don't expect anyone else to come or go.

I don't know if Walcott has always lacked quality, or if he's just having a rough season, but good god, he is AWFUL

Also Walcott turned 21, so "flashes of brilliance" are now just being shit most of the time.

Can't believe he's only 22, feels like 10 years that I've had to see his awful decision making

I'm gonna sound biased here, but Carlos Vela is ten times a better winger than Walcott, and he's not even really a winger.

Outside of the UK Theo is definitely overrated. Didn't he have a decent game against Barca once? Maybe that is it. I even saw Messi once in an interview going on like he is this fantastic player. Everyone here knows he relies only on his pace and rarely, if ever, puts a consistent run of good games in.

If he had average pace, would he even be a footballer?

eagerly awaiting a hat trick from him today

Also, did anyone see Perchinho's 35 yard thunderbolt today? Fucking hell, I'd have came buckets had it gone in. Given was well beaten. Turns out James Perch is a pretty decent defensive mid. Who knew?
