Germany has to make it up to me, since I picked them to win the World Cup. Portugal and their greased up Ronaldo can lick my hairy Colombian butthole.
My motherland will make the quarters. we are not as shit as sweden and ukraine even under woy. Austria were too shit to get there. Anyone but germany to win. My tip is netherlands.
Don't know who to go for. Went for Spain last time, cause of all the Liverpool players. By that logic, I guess England?
Rooting for England, cause, well, I'm English. Expecting Spain to win though. Won't be disappointed when England crash out.
Joe Hart (GK - Manchester City) John Ruddy (GK - Norwich City) Robert Green (GK - West Ham United) Ashley Cole (LB - Chelsea) Joleon Lescott (CB - Manchester City) Gary Cahill (CB - Chelsea) Phil Jones (CB/DM - Manchester United) John Terry (CB - Chelsea) Glen Johnson (RB - Liverpool) Leighton Baines (LB - Everton) Scott Parker (CM - T*ttenham Hotspur) Steven Gerrard (c) (CM - Liverpool) Frank Lampard (CM - Chelsea) James Milner (CM/LM - Manchester City) Ashley Young (RM/RW - Manchester United) Stewart Downing (LM - Liverpool) Alex Oxlaide Chamberlain (RW - Arsenal)
Andy Carroll (ST - Liverpool) Wayne Rooney (ST - Manchester United) Jermaine Defoe (ST - T*ttenham Hotspur)
My starting XI for the games without Rooney; Hart (GK) Johnson (WB) Cahill (CB) Jones (CB) Lescott (CB) Cole (WB) Lampard (MC) Parker (DMC) Gerrard(MC) Walcott (AMR) Young (AML) Carroll (big tall fucking lump) with Rooney: Hart Johnson (RB) Cahill (CB) Lescott (CB) Cole (LB) Walcott (MR) Gerrard (MC) Parker (MC) Young (ML) Rooney (AMC) Carroll (big tall fucking lump)
I think woy will play 4-4-2 Hart (GK) Johnson (RB) Cahill (CB) Terry (CB/Metacunt) Cole (LB) Young (RM) Parker (CM) Gerrard (CM) Milner (LM) Rooney/Defoe (ST) Carroll (Gypsy)
Just looking at that squad again... who's cover for Johnson? I can't see any other natural right back there. Am I missing something? Milner has covered there before, but... surely not. Not in the European Championships. Omission of Micah Richards suddenly very strange indeed. Still an embarrassment that Terry is in the team. Fuck him.
Well when I say "all season" it's obviously not been the only place he's played. He played a lot of games at RB, and because of United's woeful plethora of defensive injuries this season he ended up playing a lot at CB too (although Fergie hasn't employed him there as first choice, and has tended to go with Rio, Smalling and Vidic when he was fit, which is strange since CB is his original most suited position). He played a couple of games as DM I think, including a few in the Champions' League, again just before christmas when there were a lot of injuries and Fergie went with a 5 man midfield).
England now have Henderson, Downing, Carroll, Gerrard and Johnson from a side that finished 8th in the table
I fucking hate Germany. I want England to win, but I know they won't, so other than that, I'd like to see Spain take it again.
I am not really that interested in the national teams. However, if we fail (which we will) I'll be rooting for Germany.
Germany's in top form, they've probably got the best team. Luckily in football, though, the best team doesn't necessarily win. At all. Rooting for the Netherlands here.
Oh fuck, Torres is leading to be the starter forward. Fuck this. We're gonna miss Villa and Puyol fo sho.
Yeah, I'm looking at the Spanish front line, and I think you will struggle to score goals. Del Bosque is an idiot for sending Soldado home.
Dutch players subjected to racist chants at training. Great start. This competition is going to be an embarrassment.
Soldado and Adrian should be there, together with Llorente. Fuck Negredo & Torres. Also, Xavi is a HUGE CUNT
It's disgusting. I agree with what Sol Campbell said, Poland and Ukraine should never have gotten the competition. It's been anticipated and talked about for so long that shit like this would happen, and it is happening, before the tourney's even started. It's awful.
only after the offending player has been issued a yellow card for walking off the pitch, of course http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jun/06/michel-platini-yellow-racism-protest?newsfeed=true
Yeah Platini has already basically said it's not UEFA's problem if there is racists in the Ukraine or Poland. Which completely misses the point. And this shit about the refs being told to handle racism is bollocks too. Adolf Hitler himself could be leading the chants with a megaphone in one hand and a vuvuzela in the other and I bet nothing would happen. What if a game gets abandoned? What then? The fans will stop? Or will UEFA have to admit they were wrong and call off the tournament? Or will Platini's face melt off to reveal a heartless cyborg?
