Germany has to make it up to me, since I picked them to win the World Cup. Portugal and their greased up Ronaldo can lick my hairy Colombian butthole.

Just looking at that squad again... who's cover for Johnson? I can't see any other natural right back there. Am I missing something?
Milner has covered there before, but... surely not. Not in the European Championships. Omission of Micah Richards suddenly very strange indeed.

Still an embarrassment that Terry is in the team. Fuck him.

Well when I say "all season" it's obviously not been the only place he's played.

He played a lot of games at RB, and because of United's woeful plethora of defensive injuries this season he ended up playing a lot at CB too (although Fergie hasn't employed him there as first choice, and has tended to go with Rio, Smalling and Vidic when he was fit, which is strange since CB is his original most suited position). He played a couple of games as DM I think, including a few in the Champions' League, again just before christmas when there were a lot of injuries and Fergie went with a 5 man midfield).

Germany's in top form, they've probably got the best team. Luckily in football, though, the best team doesn't necessarily win. At all. Rooting for the Netherlands here.

Yeah, I'm looking at the Spanish front line, and I think you will struggle to score goals. Del Bosque is an idiot for sending Soldado home.

Dutch players subjected to racist chants at training. Great start. This competition is going to be an embarrassment.

It's disgusting. I agree with what Sol Campbell said, Poland and Ukraine should never have gotten the competition. It's been anticipated and talked about for so long that shit like this would happen, and it is happening, before the tourney's even started. It's awful.

I would love to see teams actually walk off the pitch if there's racial abuse during the games.

Yeah Platini has already basically said it's not UEFA's problem if there is racists in the Ukraine or Poland. Which completely misses the point.

And this shit about the refs being told to handle racism is bollocks too. Adolf Hitler himself could be leading the chants with a megaphone in one hand and a vuvuzela in the other and I bet nothing would happen. What if a game gets abandoned? What then? The fans will stop? Or will UEFA have to admit they were wrong and call off the tournament? Or will Platini's face melt off to reveal a heartless cyborg?
