I'd have to download the episodes from somewhere, Canadian TV is void of anything remotely good.

I've never seen it, but since it's created by Brandon Small (who also did the fantastic Home Movies) it must be good.

I saw three episodes I think (maybe only two) and I thought it was pretty fucking wank. But hey, that's just me.

It's hit or miss. Some stuff is pretty damn funny but other stuff gets slightly lame. It's decent for the show length.

Tonights episode was pretty good...no performance though :(

But, it was interesting how they actually started advancing the overall plotline, with some dissent emerging in that weird Illuminati group.

And the agnostic versus atheist fight was hilarious along with the Christian rock scene.

Tonight's episode sucked pretty damn hard. Besides the Christian rock and the Church of the Atheist, which was funny as an idea and not in execution, the episode was pretty terrible. :rolleyes

I just liked how they started developing some sort of plotline in regards to that secret group...this season is supposed to have 20 episodes, and I'm guessing their going to start building towards something to do with the old man who controls the group...and the "prophecy" thing mentioned in the first episode (the ancient hyroglyphics that look like the band).

I thought it was a good episode...not one of the best, but good.

Comes on Cartoon Network at 11:45 EST. From a preview pic I saw on the website it looks like Guitar Hero will be shown in some form.

    HOLY SHIT.

Oh my god, I don't think I've ever laughed that hard in my life. Seriously, WTF? The creators HAD to be totally high making that episode, but the maggots, OH THE MAGGOTS, oh lord! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! HAHAHAHA! My RA actually told knocked on my door and told me to shut up, and right after that it was going from the credits to the maggots, and Toki was saying "OH MY GOD I KILD HERZ" and she started laughing too. it was AWESOME.

I can't get the image of Toki drenched in blood in a costume that looks like Shredder from TMNT bending over the rotting corpse of a 10 year old girl in a wheelchair shrieking "AHHHHHHHHH MY GOD!!!!"

One of the berrer episodes. The dialogue between Toki and Swisgaar during the rhearsal scene was gold, and the "interrogation" scene was great.

Anyone else here seen the show Metalocalypse? Basically it's about a death metal band named Dethklok. It airs on adult swim and is quite good. Any thoughts?

I downloaded the first season. Some parts are so ridiculously funny, and others are kinda dumb. Mostly funny.

    ITT - Appreciate Metalocalypse

Brendan Small is a genius both in humour and guitar wizardry.

We don't get this show in Canada, but I've seen every episode online (legally, of course :tard)

This show is funny to everyone, but especially to musicians, and furthermore to metal musicians (like myself)

It's also funnier when you quote it.

"I'm Dr. Rockso, the rock n' roll clown...I do cocaine!"

    Toki: "What is this place!?"
Swisgaar: " I think it is called...food library
    Toki & Swisgaar: "Foooooddd...lllibbbraaarrryyy"
Pickles: "IT'S CALLED A GROCERY STORE YA DOUCHEBAGS!"

Murderface: "Hey grandma, are there olives in this?"
    Lady: "In what?"
    Murderface: "Lemon tarts, wrinkletits! Jeez!"
    Lady: "Umm...no?"
Murderface: "Good, then it's pee-pee time" *pisses in olives*

Pickles: "Hey get this, Murderface that guy you head-butted last night...he was a Danish Prince!"
    Murderface: "Really!?"
Pickles: "Yeah...listen to this...skull contusion, broken nose, two black eyes..."
Murderface: "Well that's what he gets for going after my hog..."

I could go on and on, and lots of visual jokes just make this show fantastic.

    Appreciate!

I think it's funny. Most of the "tr00 metal fanz" I know don't think it's funny at all. Of course, they don't think anything is funny.
