http://www.myspace.com/theangelicprocess This is some good shit, I know a few of you are familiar with them so you can help the pimping process. "They play heavy as fuck drone metal comparable to Neurosis and Jesu. This album features lots of intense post-rock guitar parts and some ambient mixed in to create some of their most beautiful compositions yet. Turn it way up, it's a trip. Pick it up when it comes out in a couple of weeks." "Lava-flow metal. Dense waves of crushing warm ambient drone propelled into the glare of a dying sun. A constantly shifting sculpture of swarming, celestial dissonance and violent sonic beauty. 40 minutes of layered hyperkinetic eruptions and shimmering white noise from the same universe as My Bloody Valentine, Swans, Merzbow and Jesu." 'Coma Waering: Terrorizer Magazine – #34 of 2006'. 'Coma Waering: B92 Radio – #1 Album of 2006'. 'Coma Waering: Transmission Radio – #10 Album of 2006'. "The Angelic Process craft warm, swirling dreamscapes, titanic sculptures of shoegazing euphoria, taking Mono's cathartic build-ups and My Bloody Valentine's layered, stellar density. Think of a reverse Sunn0))) or a sun-chasing Jesu backed by Godspeed! You Black Emperor." – Terrorizer. "The Angelic Process have forged a unique and utterly massive wall of drone that defies genre and redefines concepts of heaviness and pure visceral emotion." – Adam Wright, Crucial Blast Records "Love your material." – Steven O'Malley "The Angelic Process are as demonstrably powerful as Jesu, Godflesh, or anything else JK Broadrick has produced." – The Wire "An unearthly hybrid of pounding drumming, ghostly underworld vocal sounds and tumultuous guitars that evoke late My Bloody Valentine… Sheer unadulterated beauty." – Julian Cope "It's like Low or Godspeed being backed up by Earth, performing live with Glenn Branca's guitar orchestra and produced by the Teenage Filmstars. Or maybe Swans if they made a record for French bliss-pop label Gooom. One of those extremely rare records that manage to be as breathtakingly lovely as it is crushingly heavy. The best blown out, blissed out, space rock drone guitar record since Loveless!" – Aquarious Records "Lava-flow metal." – Paradigms Recordings. "Coma Waering sounds like an audio battle between Jesu, Sunn O))) and Masonna, swirling and shoegazing one minute, awkwardly heavy the next. The Angelic Process certainly reflect their respective influences but seem to transcend them and create a version of droning, ambient metal that hasn't quite been done before." – Rock-a-Rolla Magazine "This is what Swans would have sounded like if they had formed 20 years later." – Flagpole Magazine.

_Weighing Souls With Sand_... so fucking heavy... but so brilliant. Crushing walls of sound held together by a melody buried deep in the mix. Awesome.
A couple of the songs on my copy of Weighing Souls with Sand don't match the track times that can be seen on freedb and rym; my first track is only 5 seconds whereas those two sites say it's supposed to be over nine minutes, and the hidden track, How to Build a Time Machine is missing a minute and a half according to those sites. Does anybody have the correct versions of these songs?
Very good band, and anyone who likes Weighing Souls with Sand should also try and acquire Troum & All Sides - Shutun.
A bunch of people I've asked who have the album say the same thing... rym and freedb could be wrong, but freedb is NEVER wrong.
