We've announced our album release and all the info can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/tetr...r-free-download-on-january-31/334779239887873 And we'll be posting a new video every day leading up to the release. Here is the first: This album will be for free download (pay what you want, technically) and there will also be physical copies available, which are now available for pre-order here: http://www.tetrafusion.net/store Since this album is free, please do us the favor and share it with your friends.
TETRAFUSION LEAKED. Let me just say, from what I've heard. Shit is tremendously better than your previous album. I'll probably donate $5,000.
that video was uploaded december 8th... you already have these videos uploaded don't you. pm me the other unlisted links.
Why yes we do : ) We're releasing a new one each day at the same time. And, speak of the devil, it's that time. I might as well post them all here each day because I really want everyone to check out the album since it's free and all...
...I was kidding, I love that song. Especially when it gets all happy like "DA DEEM, DUM, DA DEEM, DUM, DA DEEM, DUM, DA DA DA DA DUMMM"
Shit sounds WAY better... except your vocalist Trim the fat, guys. Or in this case, ugly ginger with the terrible voice.
Ya, dude, because bands are about kicking people out because some random faggo doesn't like the vocal style. That's funny, "trimming the fat" because of a stylistic intolerance, but not because he's actually deficient or unskilled. They should certainly do away with the personal relationships and musical chemistry that they've been forging for years, slaving over the music. the dude is solid as fuck, albeit, highly unlike what most vocalists in metal/prog bands tend to shoot for, but the vocal shit on this album is amazing from what I've heard. All the vocal layering - it's really a step up from the last release.
I didn't really like what I've heard from you guys before, but everything in these videos so far is awesome.
Lovely tone man, what did you use to record? Also interested to know how JC's snare was milked up, and whether any triggers were used for it.
Just milked with a 57 I think. He puts a piece of foam around it for isolation. There isn't any triggering, but there is some sample blending, samples of our own snare drum, that is. The snare sounds almost exactly the same as it did from the first day of recording. Jamie has this template set up with some EQ and whatnot. I don't really know much of the details. Maybe J.C. knows.
I read Dan's question to JC, and when JC answered, it was pretty much your exact post. So, there ya go.
i've never listened to anything by you guys before, but i'll download your new album and give you my honest opinion!
Milked where though? Top and bottom? Just the top? Top and side? Mark, you didn't give me an answer about the bass.
