Oh yeah Rockett, I didn't mention it on DTF, but I saw the thread here. I really liked your stuff! It's not bland, not samey, musically interesting. The vocals are not my favorite BUT they are good and fit the music well. Some sweet production and riffs/djent. :metal

Haha thanks mits :D we're not putting it up for download but you're a lovely chap so I'll see what I can do :hm

@Xmas Dog: well I think they're getting a camera crew in to film a lot of the bands so we might be getting filmed anyway, but we might try and film ourselves too for the hell of it.

Your singer's falsetto sounds really good on this track. Tell him not to be afraid to whip it out elsewhere!

Man, I can't wait for you guys to get a recording deal and record some really professional sounding shit. Not that this sounds bad, but it could sound absolutely HUGE.

EDIT: In an effort not to be a yes-man of a fan, I think I'm safe in saying this is my least favorite song of yours (all I have is the Reanimation material to compare it to). What I like the most about you guys is your hooks, and this one isn't very hooky. Just my two cents. :)

Just to let folks know, we're releasing a new EP called Pianomation on February 13th 2012! It features our single 'As the Sea Divides', and also 3 tracks from the Reanimation EP re-arranged for piano and voice, done by myself and Sean respectively.

    Tracklisting:

    As the Sea Divides
Beneath the Waves (piano & voice arrangement)
    Attrition (piano & voice arrangement)
Chasing After Time (piano & voice arrangement)

And here is a teaser of all the tracks so you can get an idea:

    Cheers.

Don't get me wrong: I'm all for merch bundles and the like, but patrons only save £1.50 when buying both together? I think you should cut a better deal than that, but that's just me. The goal with merch packages should be to usher fans into the idea that they'd be better off purchasing the shirt+EP, rather than a shirt alone or an EP alone. Bundles = lower unit prices/lower profit margin, but equal more sales and more manageable rates for fans. And I think you could manage to come down on the shirts quite a bit. You should make more money from volume, rather than from huge mark-ups. Put out a bad ass shirt at an awesome price and people will be all over it. My advice: lower the price of the shirt and raise the price of the EP. While the cost of the shirt alone is very close to the cost of the bundle (and thus may urge individuals interested in the shirt to pay the upgrade and add the EP in), the cost of the EP is very far. I think you should get closer to splitting the difference. Just my $0.02. Here's how I'd do it:

    £4.50 - EP
    £7.50 - Shirt
    £9.50 - Bundle

Still only like £2.50 in savings, but I could see that bringing more sales. (Advertise as BUY THE ALBUM AND GET A SHIRT FOR ONLY 5 MORE POUNDS or BUY THE SHIRT AND GET THE ALBUM FOR ONLY 2 MORE POUNDS.) I swear you'd get 90% of your orders on bundles alone. I know you didn't ask for my advice, but take it or leave it. Just offering advice to fellow independent musicians. But regardless, the shirts look really cool. Is the bottom picture of the black one an actual picture of the shirt or a digital mock-up? Why no black shirt bundles?

    Sweet, love FF's music

We're recording an absolute fuckton of songs and will be working towards putting an album together, but we're gonna wait til we have some sort of good label/distribution/whatever deal before we actually release one. Our manager is doing a great job working towards that, so hopefully it'll be soon enough!

Really liked that piano and synth shit in the first tune. Almost wished the guitar hadn't come in, not because it's not great shits rockin'), but I was hella into that piano.
