I'm also still selling those Sabian cymbals you can see on the ground and I'm shameless enough to remind you guys in this thread. 17" AAXtreme china, 18" AAXplosion fast crash, brand new natural finish HH Powerbell Ride. BUY THEM FROM ME YOU FAGGOTS I NEED TO GET RID OF THEM AND I'LL SELL THEM FOR CHEAP-ish.
Yes. It's alright. I have a better one in the hallway though. I see those things at garage sales and then pick them up for pretty cheap. I'll post a picture of the better one.
@Overtone This was $15 at a rummage sale. It's in perfect working condition. The only problem is a slight fray in the power cable. It's old and dry rotting, but that's an easy fix. And I think there's a minor short in one of the sounds. Yamaha Electone D15. Not much about it online.

Unless you're Gibson. Then you can just buy the shit that's been illegally harvested and get off scot free. EDIT: Never mind, I think that was Madagascan Rosewood.
Thanks! Yeah, I'm incredibly lucky to have it. The luthier sadly went blind a few years ago and hasn't been able to make any guitars since. The remaining guitars don't come by often and are highly sought after. Hence this guitar being 12 years old but it's in incredible condition. The previous owner was a composer so I assume he didn't play it much. There's a few dings here and there but purely aesthetic. And I'm doubly lucky because these guitars are reportedly the most like Smallman guitars (the guitar John Williams plays). Those puppies set you back ~30 grand. My teacher has one and I was listening to him play it in my lesson the other day and the sound is incredibly similar. They have the same qualities. I think I actually appreciate this guitar more now than I did 3 weeks ago when I purchased it. lol yeah, googled it to check i had my facts right before making that post and read about that.
Baby got back I am still yearning for a Lowden. Speaking of Brazilian Rosewood, they have one chunk, which they call "THE LOG" that they use sparingly for special guitars. I won't be buying one using THE LOG (adds about 5 grand to the price). I'll poast my real gear a bit later. Nothing too special (besides my Taylor 814ce... not so much special as expensive tho hah)
lol why? i had a dream last night that i stood on it and put my foot through the soundboard. that was a shit dream.
(not actually my guitar. sadly I don't have the seymour duncans, but then again I think the stock pickups sound great) The guitar I write with.
it was 8k. not 11 lol. @Mike 8k for a classical guitar is pretty usual when you're buying an instrument of this quality. a guitar of this quality wouldn't be amiss in any decent touring classical guitarists luggage. my teacher has a greg smallman guitar which costs ~30g.
Currently I'm using it as my audio interface and running it out my studio monitors, however I have the option of running it through my Mesa 50/50 and 2x12 cab.
Kicking myself for not getting on the waiting list till now... I would have at least had the option to buy it around now if I want to. When you consider all the things it can replace that I may need (clean amp, bass preamp, some FX pedals) it seems like a bargain.
Yeah I'm so glad I have much better tone to play in my fucking bedroom that only I can hear and nothing to show for my 9 years of guitar playing.
Looks like I'm one of the few non-guitarists here. Well, here are my keyboards: Korg Triton ProX88, Kurzweil PC88, Roland SH-201.
If you look close you can see there's two sets of inputs and outputs. So odds are that you send it the clean signal and the pedal signal and can choose the blend. At the bottom it says "Variable Blend True Bypass Buffered FX Loop". It sounds to me like it lets you have more of a Parallel FX loop sound if your amp only does Series.
^ Yeah, basically it does exactly that. Most bass overdrive or fuzz pedals are very mid-focussed, with some compromise to the highs and lows. I use an EBS MultiDrive, and while it doesn't do a bad job of keeping the full spectrum intact (with several different modes to cater for such things), it doesn't specifically have a clean blend of its own, and even with the available options I still felt it could be better. I don't use an awful lot of gain on my overdriven tone, but I still find it sounds a lot fuller by having the clean blend in there, and it seemed like a much easier solution than trying to find another blendable drive pedal that I like the sound of as much as the EBS.
I just got a new toy - traded in my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 for the ShuttleMax 9.2. Another 300 watts of power/headroom, much better low-end extension, and switchable/blendable tube and solid state preamps. Had to sell a 6-string bass that wasn't getting used, but I EEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! I also tried out the GB Streamliner 900. Holy shitballs, what a piece of kit. If money were no object I'd have bought them both on the spot, but I have way more call for the hi-fi clarity of the ShuttleMax than the vintage goo of the Streamliner. Still an amazing amp, just surplus to requirements for me. Besides, I'm sure the ShuttleMax can get fairly close to Streamliner territory with a bit of tweaking. It certainly has the flexibility there.
Quit using my drum rack and altered my open-handed setup a bit. To get to the toms from the snare, I only have to reach left and right instead of up and forward. It's really comfortable and I love it so far, although it took a little creativity working out my drum parts for this setup.
Bought one of the 'lost 21 ML1s' last night - They sold out in just over a day, so i'm super stoked to have picked one of these babies up for so cheap:
I needed a decent guitar brĂ¼, all my stuff is back in England. I was going to get my dad to ship my PRS over but the shipping was ridiculous - a few $100 more got this thing
