Haha, that's our keyboardists Parker Fly. It's actually quite good, except that song/solo is tuned down, so on my regular guitar it's centered around the 10th fret but I had to quickly put it on the 7th fret and play it there, which was a fucking pain and really awkward.

    Hey guys, how are you?

This is a drum cover of Cosmosquad's song, INS Conspiracy. I've used to play this one before my "keyboard days" and found a nice footage from a 2007 practice session, it kicks in around the 3 minute mark. Hope you enjoy it!

Very cool. I'm currently working on a cosmosquad solo. No idea when I'll get round to recording it.

I did catch on that there was no way that e kit was sounding that seamless in the mix alongside the original drums.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Lumpy, that's not correct, I did record everything and even added some different lines, the 2007 footage is just something I thought it would be cool including, like a bonus, cause I don't own that kit anymore and I miss those days. The e-kit can and sound awesome alongside other drums, I use some pretty neat libraries like Steven Slate Drums and Toontack Superior, you should check them out :tup

The ride. I don't get how it keeps going when you stop hitting it. Maybe you're audio is just mixed low enough that I can't tell when it's you or the backing.

Yeah, that's Shane's ride :) The original track has a ride groove and also a percussion fill. On that part I play a similar fill on the snare, so Shane keeps playing the ride. My drums are high on the mix, try comparing to the original track so you can notice the difference. The thing is that I really tweaked the e-samples to sound as close as possible to the original! I imagine it might get confusing sometimes lol

Do you do any songwriting? I'd love to hear what someone with classical guitar training can come up with when songwriting.

e_brown, you play great and that guitar sounds amazing. Good job! You should work on your silent page-turning skills though.

    A little solo-guitar arrangement I did of a jazz standard :

loved it dude. though, i think there's more you could have done rhythmically than arpeggiating each change to fill in the space. try incorporating some walking bass for different sections or something to change it up.

Little guitar improv i did to test the video recording capability of my phone...enjoy. Excuse the sound...small shitty phone mics don't like dark jazz tone.

Not that much, i hear some of his tracks with Jimmy Smith from time to time though. I listen to a shit ton of Grant Green though. A lot of organ trio type stuff. Been getting into Jim Hall too lately.
