Later today I'll change that for a more recent pic that has all my gear in it, as well as my acoustic.

Until then, just picture a TS7, DS1, DD6, GE7, Jamman, Fender Blues Jr., and a Tacoma DM9C in there.

I don't have any closeups right now. They're both ugly anyway.

:) Playing Senegalese afro stuff with Ndioba & Topoto Band tonight in Vuosaari, but I think it's a private occasion. Besides, my Larrivee's currently at the shop having a Seymour Duncan Mag Mic installed. Ndioba Unplugged at Liberte in Helsinki I think on the 28th November would be a good bet?

I always thought you were a Helsingin alkuasukas for some reason. Damn, should've dropped you a line when we played For Funk's Sake 2006 at the Jyväskylä Jazz Bar in September. Was mitey fun, especially the first night.

That was with Housewife as the houseband at said funk festival. 70s (partly instrumental) funk, in other words, a true two-day wrist workout. ;)

ProgFreak: yep, RG3120. :) In my opinion, the best guitar Ibanez has ever released in the states. Mahogany body, flamed maple top, real DiMarzio pickups (not those lame "DiMarzio/ IBZ" models they put in now :rolleyes ) ... just an incredible model and very versatile.

mrjazzguitar: yeah, Evans amps are awesome. The combo that's in the picture I posted is 200 watts and is L-O-U-D. Even when I play with a big band, I barely have to put the volume past three or four, it's so loud. When I play with a trio or quartet, even less. It has insane headroom.

Your rig is pretty damn sweet, too. :) That thing must be loud as hell.

yea man its all about the headroom and sound quality. its unbelievably clear at all volumes, and w/ 400w class d amp (and 400w cab) deafening volumes are very reachable.

Which Dean Vendetta are you getting? We got a few nice ones in at the shop recently, very playable, decent (enough) sound right out of the box.

That's awesome. I don't know about you, but I can't stand having to crank my amp all the way just to get some decent volume. I NEED headroom or the amp just doesn't work for me. I'd rather have too much rather than not enough -- especially with Jazz, when having a distorted tone *usually* isn't an issue.

Dean Vendetta 1.0 Left-Handed. And as I think mentioned before, I also got a Crate VTX30B for my birthday next month on the 23rd.

EDIT: Here's the link to the amp. My internet is being slow so I can't get the vendetta pick now.

OK, here's my little collection of guitars:

From front to back (although the ones in the back aren't showing that well...)
    - The newest and shiniest addition to the family, the Petrucci!
    - Ibanez S470, my primary axe before receiving my JP.
    - An extremely cheap 7-string Ibanez (GRX720), but hey, it's still a 7-string.
    - Another dirty cheap instrument, some random five-string bass.
    - A Squier Strat, mostly for nostalgia (the first guitar I ever purchased)

One more shot of the JP, this time with another brand-new acquisition, the Zoom G9.2tt:

I want that guitar, I already have the effects pedal. I got mine 2 weeks ago and I've yet to get to rips with getting a good custom tone out of it, but the presets are suiting me fine at the moment. I'll try and take a pic of my guitar soon.
