Can anyone recommend a good program for converting FLAC to be played in itunes without a loss of quality?
mac or pc? there's software for mac called Fluke. PC, just get DBPoweramp and convert the FLAC to ALAC
but then he wont have access to the iTunes store, which sells thousands of apps in addition to every song and tv show imaginable for reasonable prices
I like itunes for iphone syncing, remote control, organization and other features here and there. I've got some other players that play flac but I'd like to put this stuff in my itunes as well. Also, I'm on pc.
there's a plugin that let's you use foobar2000 with your ipod. You can listen to Flac on your computer, then set the plugin to convert to mp3/aac/whatever when you add music to your ipod.
regardless of which software is best - iTunes not supporting FLAC is one of the biggest dick moves of all time by anyone
