http://www.patmetheny.com/whats-it-all-about/ Slightly disappointed that it's not an album of Metheny compositions, but I'm sure it will be good.

Finally got around to this album. I used to listen to Metheny all the time. I kept seeing his name pop up on this forum which triggered me buying this one. "The Sound of Silence" is definitely my favorite on here as well. It was done so well. His take on all the material is brilliant.
Will listen, but I've never cared much for his solo stuff, if I may say so. I can appreciate the playing and the melodies, but it lacks the excitement and diversity of the PMG material, so it bores me fairly easily.
This album is on a constant rotation on my iPod. DT89, you know if there is any sheet music/tab books on this album? I am having a hard time finding anything.
I have a tab for his version of "And I Love Her", from Acoustic Guitar magazine, but that's it. I imagine there will be a full book at some point, considering there's one for One Quiet Night. On a related note, he recently put out a book of etudes for warming up. That one is fun to play through.
Just ordered the guitar etudes for warming up book. I really want some of the pieces on this album though.
I am tempted to preorder the One Quiet Night tab book... But he uses a baritone quite a bit. I can work my way around it, but I'd rather play the actual compositions.
I've listened to Metheny for quite a while and honestly have never seen that "Pikasso" guitar. That thing is fucking insane.
I lost my shit when he brought it out live in October. The Sound Of Silence is probably my favorite of his Pikasso recordings.
On the topic of the Pikasso guitar, I watched this for the first time the other day and my mind was blown:
