In here I compile artists/albums that are "hyper-minimalism". If you're into quiet, 4'33'' type shit you may enjoy these "compositions". The modern king of this style is Antoine Beuger. Albums to look for are A Young Person's Guide to Antoine Beuger, Two . too (for ewin-josef speckmann),Un lieu pour ĂȘtre deux, and Keine fernen mehr. Then there's those random albums. Masahiko Okura, Taku Sugimoto & Taku Unami - Chamber Music Concerts vol.1 Yoshimitsu Ichiraku, Kazushige Kinoshita & Taku Unami - Cymbal Violin Lapsteel Radu Malfatti - Rain Speak Soft Tree Listens Nikos Veliotis, Taku Sugimoto, Kazushige Kinoshita & Taku Unami - Quartet
Listening to A Young Person's Guide now. I wonder how much I would have to pay my music teacher to play "Tanzaku" in its entirety in class.
My class is a music history class that music majors aren't allowed to take. It's pretty much only take by people for an art gen. ed. class. It is the easiest fucking stuff but everyone might be legitimately retarded. The best/worst class.
I think I liked "Tanzaku" more than the "Sekundenklange" portion, but Young Person's Guide is pretty great.
