Thank God I was able to work in a small room by myself today so I could blast Koloss all afternoon. I've gotten 6 or 7 listens straight and I love it. Every single track is pretty much awesome in my books. I think Swarm is quite underrated and I'd rank it up there with Marrow, so I'm surprised that more people aren't going crazy over it.

Don't worry, Bulb, I'll download your new album rather than paying for it as soon as it leaks too (although I shouldn't say too because I'll actually pay for Meshuggah).

I was pelvic thrusting like a mother fucker in my car to "Demiurge". Every time the snare hits I would hump the wheel. I wanna the lay the pipe down on some broad so bad to this song... But I fear I would prematurely blow my load just out of the sheer greatness blasting from my speakers.

This album is wicked fucking awesome. I think I have listened to it a good 10 times all the way through. I wasn't sure what to expect with this album. They completely raped my expectations for this one.

yeah for the guitar tone, there's a custom amp involved in which the tubing uses this material that was built to withstand a nuclear blast

Just hearing this band for the first time since this thread is so active...

I dunno, they are a bit heavy for my liking, i cant get past the harsh 'cookie monster' vocals. Its like the time i listened to between the buried and me (except their a bit heavier)

    any suggestions welcomend!

I've tried to listen to this but it is just too extreme for me. This is the most extreme metal I have ever heard and it just goes a bridge too far in terms of music and lyrics IMO. As I type this, I'm still trying to calm my children down and explain to them what "demiurge" means.

Seriously, I love this album. I never really got into obZen for some reason but I'm already sure that I'm going to listen to this one a lot. Congrats to the guys for being able to combine all their best elements and still making Koloss sound really fresh.
