    Saw the first 5 or so eps last night. That is, I watched MLP on a Saturday night. Great show, it's like a 3-year old girl's acid trip with a little anime action thrown in. I think Rainbow Dash is my favorite so far.

    The more they show of Canterlot the creepier the show's universe becomes, what with all the armed security and constant surveillance from the god empress herself: like the eye of Sauron or some shit. Then there was the nationalist overtone of the finale's plot. Preventing an interspecies marriage and expelling all the black creatures in one fell swoop? That Swiss poster with the sheep doesn't have shit on MLP.

    But really, awesome ep even if the songs sucked.
