This one man's opinion is that America is finished. We have turned our back on God. We have allowed the Bible and God to be thrown out of our schools, court houses, etc. We have allowed a bunch of trash talking, garbage spouting loud mouthed socialists to take over and bit by bit tear this nation down. God will punish sinful man at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ. But, He deals with nations right now. No sinful nation has ever remained. They are all destroyed. America is being dismantled bit by bit by sinful men, Satanic loving scum. Sex, drugs, porn are rampid in this nation. This nation produces more porn than any nation on earth. Just 70-80 years ago, Gone With The Wind had a hard time getting the word "damn" on a movie screen. Watch TV today and you hear the F word. All under "freedom of speech or expression." No, America is going down the drain. This country is as bad as Sodom and Gomorrah. We all know how that turned out.

People ask why the Bible does not have anything in it about America in prophesy. Ever wonder that the answer to that question is, combined with the Rapture of the Church, and the sin that is America now, that America just might not even exist in those times? Don't put your faith in things of this sinful world folks. Put your eyes UP. Look UP. Only by Him, through HIM, can you see the Father and get to Heaven and avoid this mess that is coming. Your choice.

Did some reading on this guy... the thing that's kind of sad is that he eventually renounced his "Satanic beliefs" which were basically just a combination of atheism and non-religious philosophies, and ended up believing in a supernatural being (although not the Christian god).

I haven't watched that video, but on a serious note, a buddy of mine has been raving about this guy who converted from atheism to theism. Specifically, deism. He wrote a book about it, and it takes a philosophical approach from what I know. It would be interesting to check out. (EDIT: On second thought, maybe it is the guy in the video. I'll have to check it out.)

And NikTh, the very fact that you continue to make valued judgments (such and such is "immoral", such and such is "beneficial") shows that you're not getting my point at all. You can't prove that it is a 'good' thing to help people to someone who doesn't think so. A smart, knowledgable person might be a skeptic and have no opinion on the matter of helping people, yet you'd call him stupid for it.

You're also arguing in a circle.

    1) Person A is stupid because they don't believe what I do.
    2) I can't convince them to believe the way I do because they are stupid.
    3) They are stupid because they don't believe what I do.
    etc, etc.

I agree with you, there is no logical way to both be an atheist and believe in 100% absolute morality.

I don't really get where you're going with this; while what you're saying is valid (I agree that we live in a world without any absolute, objective view that we can reference on these matters, and hence it's a matter of subjective opinion), it's also useless to any discussion, and could be used to argue any sort of viewpoint. Ultimately, I think most people will hold the opinion that helping others is a good thing, and that the progress of mankind is something to strive for. Just because this is a subjective viewpoint does not in any way detract from the original point I was making and this whole discussion we're having is a giant red herring.

I tried to find out if what you are saying about Bob Larson is true or not and could not find evidence of this. Please provide your sources. There appears to be many out there that want to discredit him because of what he is doing. Also, even if your information ends up being true, the interview with Zeena Schreck still stands no matter what Larson believes at this point. As for your beliefs that Larson makes Christianity look ridiculous, I don't agree.

Satanists? Sounds more like the Republican agenda. "Help people who help themselves."

It's actually a combination of atheism and some kind of ultra-extreme libertarianism.
