The worst parts of the new mwY are the over-blown horns/strings and the parts where Aaron and/or the gang just sing "doo do do" or "da...da da daaa". So fucking annoying.
I thought that stuff was pretty gay at first, but I think the trick is to listen to the album when you're in a really happy mood, so you can just enjoy the album in a gayly happy way. Anyway, I'm currently listening to the entire discography... From the EP Blood Enough For Us All. May or may not get through it all.
What part are you talking about? OHHH yeah. I guess I don't mind it in that song because it isn't a) cutesy and "endearing" (like in timothy hay) or b) quirky and "fun" (like in fig w/ bellyache)
discog listen-through today. they're in the studio right now and Aaron says it's not very similar to their last, but that it's some of the best they've done.
I've heard there's going to be some fugazi influence and stuff like that on the new one should be neat.
remember when we all thought they were breaking up? no? remember when i thought they were breaking up? and cried? uh....well, i'm excited for the new album, anyways.
Pretty sure this was ENTIRELY a chick friend of Joe Vollmer's/Unreal's. I would make fun of her/him for this, but I'd rather not give him reason to rip my asshole outside of my body the next time I see him... Not that he would, but the fact that he could... it just makes me uncomfortable.
i guess it's not incorrect, but it would be much easier to read if you put "fault" in there somewhere.
