And gifs are good too:
Guy on the right...
guy on the right is so pimp, he just doesn't give a fuck
he's the only one in the picture that understands its not cool to be methul. now that's progressive.
Juist know we kicked david out because he shredded too much
I love how when you're in a band and trying to think of a picture to take, it's always, "let's go stand around and look casual but not really casual in front of an abandoned building or in an alley." My band was always like that, too.
the next time i do a photo shoot with a band i want everyone to dress up like this
seriously. it would be fucking good
Given the other guy isn't a full time member anymore, I really should get some new ones taken.
lol@how un-metal my band is compared to everyone else's.
yeah one3rd's band sure look metal
They sure do. Metal motherfuckers.
Yes, we are so metal, you wouldn't actually believe it.
Since no one knows what I actually look like, I'm the bassist.
These are terrible, but we played a show tonight at the same venue... hopefully we will get some better pics out of that and even some video.
I'm the keyboardist/drunk wanker in the middle on the second one
More pics of that drumset. It looks pretty cool.
Is he wearing a fucking jumpsuit?
This pretty much describes us.
Can't find many current ones because he changes it all the time. This is how it is now:
Awesome fun to play, would be better if he could tune it though
Our 11th Hour:
Why can't he tune it?
And how do those octobans sound? Do they project?
I don't know why he can't tune it. We tried to tune them for recording awhile ago, but he rarely replaces the heads and doesn't seem to understand the importance of tuning and doing the bottom heads as well. I'd help him but I don't understand enough about how to do it properly myself.
Given that, the octobans project about as well as you might think given hes had them for 2-3 years and has never replaced the heads or put a lot of effort into tuning. Pretty dead.
He has two higher ones that he used to use with them as well, you can see them unattached at the top of the pic.
Oh. Well in my opinion, knowing how to tune your drums well is just as important as the quality of your drums and the quality of your playing. Who cares if you have an expensive, nice kit if it sounds like shit? I think you should portray it to him in that fashion and he might begin to take it more seriously.
First step to learning a bit about tuning is watching some Bob Gatzen videos. He gives a lot of helpful insight into developing your drum sound.
Also, tell him to sit down and listen to some of his favorite drummers. I like to have an idea of the sound I want to achieve.
I totally agree. Thanks, i'll look into some Bob Gatzen.
Finally, someone that respects Bob Gatzen. Fucking master at tuning drums. That guy got me in to playing.
So learn how to tune drums and tune them for him. Out of tune drums not only are a bad reflection of him, but of the band he's playing with.
Just for kicks...my old band, that is no more.
I'm the bassist.
We got a free shoot just before Christmas.
The first one is really good.
dan is cool yo
Dan is the hottest and should be fronting all pictures.
Oh how I did lol.
It's true you're one sexy stud
Btw, how did you get Marco Sfogli to join your band?
Separate names with a comma.
