This band have been destroying me for the past few months. Man, this stuff is intense. I'm listening to From Mars to Sirius and... *face mets* Rememberance, The Heaviest Matter in the Universe, In the Wilderness, Backbone... I could go on, they all slay! Let's get some appreciating on the go.
Remembrance is their best song, and it was fucking amazing live. Other than that they're pretty good, but not too exciting.
I've (unfortunately) never seen them live, but all signs point to them kicking dick. The first time I heard their record I was kind of impressed. The second time nto so much and the third time they became ok.
I just listened to Job For a Cowboy's "Doom" and Behemoth's "Demigod"..I actually think I'm looking fwd to those two more now, lol. Couldn't believe the last 2/3 of that Behemoth album..like every track had something cool about it.
Here's a tease of the new album: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?f...&MyToken=e1869712-7b08-4c46-9baf-b963990bd18e
Pretty good. But not something I listen to very much. In fact, I have not listened to them in a long time.
Backbone kicks my ass, even though it's a tad bit long and repetetive in the beginning. But in a way that makes the first official heavy groove that much more of a high.
Fucking beast. This band grooves, I love From Mars to Sirius and Terra Incognita. The Link was pretty good too, I like the tribal overtones they put out there. Great band, nice and raw.
Morbid Angel, Meshuggah, Neurosis awesome band anyways, i love all three of their albums. i want their live dvd

They rule. Being "overrated" means nothing. Their new album comes out in October, and it's called "The Way Of All Flesh". They're also touring Europe with In Flames later this year. edit: post above. ^^
Pretty cool band, I'm not as into them as some people but they do what they do very well. I'm looking forward to their next album.
Still my favorite metal band, holy crap I love these guys. Have seen them live 3 times now... amazing
Good band, not great IMO. Worthy enough for me to have all their albums on CD, plus Link Alive. Terra Incognita was hard to get, I actually emailed Gojira.
great band. saw em open for Lamb of God about a year ago or so. fucking BRUTAL new album teaser was pretty sick why hasn't this video been posted in this thread yet? (from the live DVD) [ame="http://youtube.com/watch?v=axe8HGLV4Vw"]YouTube - Gojira - Remembrance[/ame]
Finally I'll see them live, I'm excited! The only other band I'm really dying to see live is Meshuggah, but no luck
