These spoilers are hardcore - speculation about the next few episodes from a reader, I still tried to write them so that if they're read by accident I don't spoil anything, like there's no NED DIES in there, but yeah, this is a pretty long warning.

I don't want this to be seen as a complaint, I know the show has to do things differently and is doing very well atm blah blah blah, I just want to talk about it. It looks like no reeds and no ramsay.
-wtf do they do with bran/rickon at the end of the year? I know it's a bit much thinking about what might be in the source material for a sixth or seventh season, but based on what could be coming up there, bran/rickon is one thing I don't want them to fuck with. Hopefully they just get cast for season 3.
-roose has been introduced, and there's been suggestion that he and ramsay are merging, and roose will do what ramsay did at winterfell, but I don't see that as possible, as he couldn't be involved in the red wedding, could he? Nor could he go to Harrenhal, and well... next comment
-Arya's story seems to get a bit weird. Forgetting Tywin's appearance, as it stands everything could really go as per the books, and she could become Roose's cupbearer, but it seems like the cupbearer to a lord story is happening with Tywin. We know Jaqen (as if it's pronounced like that, btw) is happening and he's going to make Arya the offer we expect he will. I thought in the books that it was a little odd that she didn't at least throw out Tywin's name to see Jaqen's reaction, but if she's his cupbearer? I hope they give us an explanation. Also zorbo reckoned in that podcast he thinks Tywin recognised Arya, is that a possible change they could make?

Pretty sprawling and nonsensical thoughts, just wanted to see what you idiots are thinking.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, the first couple of things could easily be in season 3

There's no way Tywin could've recognized Arya. They had never been in the same place before.

    I know

I asked if that's a change they could make, still just throwing things around

    - They are probably using Osha as a substitute for Jojen and Meera. She has already shown her knowledge about the old gods and stuff like that, so it would be possible for her to also know about Greenseers and wargs. Which is okay, I guess, unless Howland Reed ends up being relevant to the overall plot, in which case the show will be in serious trouble.
    - I think they are merging Roose with Ramsay while Tywin takes Roose's place in Harrenhal. I can live with that since Roose doesn't need to be in Harrenhal in order to decide that Robb's cause is lost and plot with Walder Frey. As for Winterfell, I don't know. Maybe he'll go North to "retake" Winterfell and return to the Twins in time for the Red Wedding.
    - I'm quite sure that after whispering Weese's name to Jaqen, Arya did realize how stupid she was and that she should have named some big players such as Tywin. I guess it's understandable since she is still a child and simply doesn't think about the "big picture".

I don't see why they can't introduce Ramsay later. In fact, it's better they do it this way after what happened with the hound. It'd such for them to get a Ramsay now when he doesn't have an important role to play, only to have him ask for a ridiculous price a few years from now when it's finally his turn to do something. Might as well just let Roose or Tywin handle all Ramsay's parts and then in season 5 they can introduce him as Roose's son.

Is it really necessary to tag something so trivial and vague as that? It's so annoying to put up tags for the slightest little things. If that's the case, why not just have two threads?

See the poll in the Polls forum. And yes, it is necessary, a spoiler is a spoiler, what's trivial to you may not be so to someone else. And if typing a couple of extra words it that big of a deal for you, perhaps you shouldn't post in this thread at all.

See, I kinda see it the opposite way. I've used spoiler tags in this thread before, when refering to specific event. But I just don't see what the big deal is in knowing that a certain character is in a later season. The way I see it, if finding out they need to cast Ramsay in the next season is too much for you to handle and running the experience then maybe you're the one who shouldn't be reading this thread. But whatever, I will stop posting "spoilers" from now on. Right after I tell you about how Tyrion will die in the next few eps.

But this thread is about the TV show, not the books. Talking about characters from the books that haven't appeared in the show yet outside of spoiler tags, or discussing differences between the books and the show outside of spoiler tags, is spoiling it for those who haven't read the books. I don't see why this is hard for you to understand.

Those posts really should be spoilered dude, because there is a good chance that

they will still present Ramsay as Reek and setup the cliffhanger with the audience believing that Ramsay is already dead.

Saying "x character is alive in y future book" is definitely a spoiler.

I'm yet to see a proper spoiler in this thread, only minor bits and pieces. Just putting that out there

Yet again, let me explain that what constitutes a "proper spoiler" to you may be different than someone else's definition.

I fail to see why the majority have to move to a new thread but anyway, hopefully this solves the problems

You don't have to move to the other thread just because you've read the books. We've simply split up the discussion in regards to book comparison. Not a big deal, really.

Also I wouldn't call it a definite majority considering the poll was fairly even. That poll was mostly to gauge how much support a separate thread would have and in my opinion it certainly had enough support.

I thought generally the people who had read the books were most active but who cares really if this solves the problem

Just a small thing - the titles of the two threads are identical except for the word "No" in this thread. Might be easy to post in the wrong one, which could lead to some major spoilers for you guys (much more so than the very minor ones that have been divulged here in the past).

So to be clear - spoilers itt work like they do for other tv shows? Cause it's still a little grey, I mean people who haven't read books might have discovered future plot points as they would have if this were an original series. Take Ned's death for example - I knew about it before it aired last year, and hadn't read the books. Under usual TV show rules it would be fine to post about it in here, as long as it was spoiler tagged.

I think it's safe to say that if it's happened in the books and not the TV show, this is not the thread to discuss it.

So (I'm not arguing, just trying to straighten it out) if you and Bacong got an advance release of the rest of the season - could you discuss it in here in spoiler tags? That stuff probably happens in the books, but you don't know that.

Future spoilers for stuff that hasn't aired yet has to be spoiler tagged. Them's the rules. After it's aired, it's fair game.

I think making two threads was a bad idea 'cause a huge majority takes place in the other thread and I can't go there because I will get spoiled without warning.
