    I went to http://www.dfwheavymetal.com/bands.html (protip: Hit ctrl+F and search for Denton) to check them out, and there are definitely some gems, at least as far as names. My favorites include:
    The Day God Died
    Flesh Pilgrims
    Shaolin Death Squad
    Sleezus Fist and the Latter Day Saints
    Tyrannosaurus X

    Sleezus Fist is probably the best one.
