Nah, mine is working fine now. I did notice earlier that the low res version didn't work for me. Try using the higher res one or vice versa.

I just watched the 15-20 minutes of gameplay footage they put up. I gotta say.......what I just watched could have easily passed for being Titan Quest. Not that that's a bad thing, but I was honestly expecting something more from a Diablo 3.

Yeah, who said men can't have multiple orgasms?! A LIE!!!~!@ Can't fucking wait for this.

Aah, no one ever listens :rollin Love Blizzard humour. I hope they haven't replaced any of the old classes because the Witchdoctor uses spells that were typical for a Necro.

I've never seen Titan Quest but if you're talking about the graphics - Diablo has never been the best looking game when released. It's the amazing gameplay that made the games such a success and the replay value. So far I'm fucking pumped. Too bad that this could be released in 5 years. One thing's for sure: it will be worth it (like any Blizz game).

Not even death can save you from me.

I've watched the cinematic trailer at least ten times.

    Greatest.

Diablo III was my last resort of what it was. Never thought it would come to fruition. Well done Blizzard.

I must have this. Now. I can't wait. They should have waited to announce it one week before it drops.

Though I am probably going to need a new computer for this, so I at least have time for that.

I think if you can play SC2, you'll have no problems with this one. But as DS so eloquently put it, if I have to buy new PC I fucking will. But since they said the game will not require DX10, I don't think too many people should worry about being able to play the game at a satisfying level of detail.

Btw, please if you can download the HD movies, rapidshare them.

Yeah it would suck if they screwed it up, how many members of the original team broke off to form flagship studios?

    like 99%

except for Chris Metzen, which wrote the plot (from the basic outlines the guys from B. North gave him) and is still with Blizzard.

The bad thing is Matt Uelmen (OST composer from the previous Diablos) went with the Flagship dudes... I hope Matt's successor proves me wrong, but it's really hard to beat themes like Tristram or Rogue Encampment

My thoughts exactly. I can't imagine wanting to leave a company that really has a spotless record in terms of game quality.

I'm going to reiterate once again, for it seems like many people here aren't aware. If what you saw in this video excites you because of its 3D graphics, but essentially classic Diablo gameplay, then go play Titan Quest right now if you haven't already.

$20 for both the base game and expansion put together

I'm eagerly awaiting Diablo 3 because, despite its similar-looking nature, I have no doubt it'll be 100x better than Titan Quest. But Titan Quest is an incredible game in its own right, with some of the most gorgeous and varied environments, and most customizable class system of any Diablo clone that's come out. Oh yeah, it's a lot of fun too.

    Fuck yeah.

The only thing i'm disappointed in is that it doesn't have the grimace and dark tone of Diablo 1 or 2. This one looks more WoW-ish, or like an updated Dungeon Siege.

I do like the foliage though, it looks like a painting.

Yeah, the quality of the game has a lot more to do with how long they give it than really anything else. Hellgate was extremely rushed, so while it was made by the same dudes who made D2, it was terrible because it wasn't finished.

Whereas this has supposedly been in development for four years and, with the U.S. Mint being located somewhere around the WoW servers, this will come out when it's good, done, and amazing.

I also started playin D2 today. I'm up to the Arcane Sanctuary.

The new Diablo looks so amazing in the high definition teaser

One of the items dropped in the gameplay footage is a "Minor Energy Rune"

It's a very early work in progress, but I do think the edited one from inside the Forgotten Tombs looks better. The one outside doesn't look as good as the original.
