well a lot of the more recent threads you're making (genghis/daughters) probably aren't discussed that often anymore but certainly were at one time long before you tainted the forum with your awful taste.

what does that have to do with anything here ???

nowadays I rarely listen to myspace samples (from recommendations)unless I'm really excited about it. I usually just d/l it and trust most people.

it's saying that you're a lying sack of shit who trusts my opinion because i have superb taste and you know it and love it but for some reason you don't want to say it out loud anymore and instead would rather harrass me any chance you get creating nearly unbearable sexual tension between us. :(

holy fuck, they are nuts. i heard them when _canada songs_ first came out. it fried my brain, man. then a year or two later i saw them open for DEP. within 5 seconds they blew out some speakers--that's how fucking loud and insane they were. there was a 10-15 break so they could fix some shit, and that was longer than their whole set, since their songs are like 30 seconds long. fuck, they're nuts though.

Daughters started out promising - Canada Songs was pretty cool - but totally blew it with everything else they've done. They were disappointing live, and they didn't do the "hey everybody look at us because WE'RE A BUNCH OF ASSHOLES" shtick very well at all.

I heard Hell Songs a while ago (maybe from this thread) but it never fully clicked until a month or two ago. Hooooly shit, this is becoming one of my favorite albums ever.

That heavy riff in Recorded Inside A Pyramid (like 2:40ish) destroys worlds.

Hell Songs is the only album I have by these guys. It's good but not insanely gripping or anything. Gets annoying after a little while actually.

that's because they aren't "big" enough to have albums circulating file-sharing networks. I linked the myspace for a reason.
