That is the best lineup for any festival I've ever seen. Wow. I can't even pick a favorite day.
AT THE DRIVE-IN
GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR
I thought Refused were fuckin' dead?
The Black Keys
Explosions in the Sky
The Dear Hunter
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
At the Drive-In
Florence + The Machine
are all the bands I really really would want to see.
They'd rather be dead, but now they're part of the new noise
holy fuck what an incredible lineup
I would suck every one of your penises to be able to go to this.
are all the bands I really really would want to see
damn that's a good lineup
almost as memorable as woodstock 1969, hey maybe 2012 is like 1969 because of the whole peace and love thing after buttfuck and hate during 1968 and 2011, wouldn't that be amazing!
I don't see why there is anything wrong with this. It's still a fantastic lineup.
Apparently I'm (almost) alone in thinking this lineup sucks. To each his own.
All it's missing is The XX. Oh wait. That was last year. Yeah, what Elnimio said.
would go for godspeed alone but
Yeah, really fired up about GY!BE, Explosions in the Sky and Dear Hunter. Mildly excited about a host of others. Like every year, I'd say Saturday is the deepest.
EDIT: Listening to Refused on Spotify right now. This shit is right up my alley...
I'd consider going for Refused alone, but there are just so many incredible acts that I'd want to go even if Refused hadn't reformed.
Getting tickets the second the box office opens. Andrew Bird alone was enough to sell me and I've seen him twice already.
I HAVE to go
holy shit-stained crucifix
Damn, that's up with the best lineups I've seen, jealous as fuck of anyone who goes. I just counted 28 artists listed I'd love to see...
fuck, how much cost is associated with attending this shit? I mean roundtrip from NYC is already $350-$400 minimum. closest friends of mine are in LA, 2 hr drive or so.
shit man. If I flew out to London to see 3 shows (mainly) how can I not get my ass out to this?
Other than the obvious ones, does anybody have firsthand experience seeing some of the not-as-famous bands in the lineup that you'd say put on a "must-see" live show?
We Were Promised Jetpacks put on a great show. Same with Thundercat and Beats Antique
sorry there aren't any deathcore bands playing
wow this is close to where I live
totally not gonna go
Guys, we should totally have a 5/8 tent!
Dunno where you put Andrew Bird in your famous list, but he puts on one of the best live performances I've ever seen.
how does that shit work? because in the site it says "no tents" or some shit
Wild Beasts, Childish Gambino, The Big Pink, GOTYE!
would be cool to see Troy, just so I can shout "SET PHASERS TO LOVE ME!" at him.
It's a Coachella line-up, alright. Nothing to get super excited about. (almost as memorable as woodstock 1969? are you shitting me?)
Some great bands, just like every Coachella.
Does it? According to wikipedia they've had camping for years now.
Yeah there's camping there. It's fucking $82 for a spot though.
Nothing I haven't seen already except for the reunions.
The Dear Hunter
Don't care about any of the others. Doesn't seem as special as people are making it out to be.
Refused and at the drive-in we're long broken up a few days ago - that's what's special.
Would like to see:
At the Drive-In
Already seen and would like to see again:
Already seen and don't care to see again:
Florence and the Machine
Have not yet seen but have a ticket to see soon:
god you're a fgt
I'd totally pitch in, given we had a tent to pitch
hey guyz i'll see u there. i'll be the dude wearing a girly t-shirt, a scarf and black rimmed glasses, holding a mac book.
haha oh man
what a HIPSTER lineup, HIPSTERS!!!! haha i hate HIPSTERS! faggots
