Teaser Trailer GT Pop-Block HD Release Date: November 10, 2009 Platform: PC, X360, PS3 Developer: Infinity Ward Publisher: Activision Official site: http://www.modernwarfare2.com/ GameInformer scans:click Game Info: A "Special Forces" mode will be featured in Modern Warfare 2 comparable to the "Mile High Club" epilogue mission in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but nothing definitive about the mode is known yet. Infinity Ward has confirmed that they will address the issue of enemies that continually respawn at different points of a level. Also, in response to questions about the length of the single-player campaign, Infinity Ward CCO Jason West stated that Modern Warfare 2 would not be longer than the 6-10 hour-long campaign of Call of Duty 4.
http://modernwarfare2.infinityward.com/ You can stop the video/zoom in on the official site, and see tons of shit you didn't see watching it in real-time. There are already tons of sites that detail the hidden stuff, but it's a neat feature either way. Bit of warning, it'll play havoc on your internet history since moving the mouse anywhere registers as a new page or some crap.
I'm sure they'll keep it exactly the same as CoD 4. Don't see why they would even consider changing it.
I'm sure there will be that plus extra customization. I wanna pimp out my soldier as well as the weapons.
I don't really want them to change much in it, but it would be cool to change your rationality/accent of your character online.
Fucking indeed. And hopefully by this time I should have a new pimped out PC that will run this game like a train on a bitch. I don't mind playing 360 but if I play it on PC then Moonman can teach me the ways of the COD Force. And/or headshot me.
A more nerdy look at the trailer: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ1qSQBzPjA"]YouTube - Call of Duty 6 - Secrets Unveiled! New perks, locations, Easter eggs..[/ame]
One of those perks looked like it perhaps made you run faster. The one next to it looked like maybe increased knife ability?
I hate the helicopters worse. I knife the dogs and that seems to work well. I personally wish they would release a 100% multiplayer cod. All of the extra space from saved from the single player could mean alot of extra maps, weapons, features etc. Better yet, make it a two disc game. Disc 1 is campaign mode and Disc 2 is multiplayer mode.
Why do you seriously doubt storage space is an issue? I would think there is only so much space on the disc and they could have two discs. One disc for multiplayer with like 20 maps and one for the single player campaign.
And actually, I bet if storage space IS an issue on the 360 they'll do just what LM is saying...one SP disc and one MP disc.
i just thought...in cod4 there is that bonus mission were your on the plane...wonder if this is related to codMW2
modern warefare2 intresting, i think there is going to be no other FPS games that will ever match to COD statis.
Probably isn't an issue as this point, for non-RPGs. Lots of games are less than 7gb, while some are legitimately 6-7.5gb. Game ISOs will always report as that, but if you extract the actual files, they can be as low as 2.5GB (I'm looking at you Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, lol). The rest is from the video partition that just takes up the rest of the space. Ninja Gaiden 2 was only like 5gb, and that's one pretty looking game. If it ever does get too large, they'll cut out maps and sell them to us later for more money :P
I played for about the first time in about 6 months, expecting to be garbage and was doing pretty awesome. My first match was on Countdown which i normally suck at, but I got a 17 kill streak! Back on topic, this game is going to kick ass.
-.- The whole thing started there, so yeah. Plus, the graphics are better and.. *cue* mouse+keyboard > controller in FPS *cue*
Most of the guns are spray friendly at close range, so I thought it might suck a little bit of the fun out of aiming with a mouse.
You're talking about one of the only games with a true aiming mechanic. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I can't wait for this shit to come out.
