You're right. 1.3 million minimum PPV buys. What a shitty decline.

Boxing is nothing like it used to be. People would rather watch two dudes hump each other in an octagon.

It's a street fight. Boxing takes more skill. MMA bores me. I enjoy kickboxing (k1 and other organizations), but straight up MMA is just boring as shit.

Watch some matches with Anderson Silva, Shogun Rua, Jon Jones, etc and say it's boring. The striking in most cases is a little behind if compared to boxing and K1/Muay Thai/Kickboxing but it's getting better and better, and as a sport it's much more technical than boxing, and most importantly it's still a sport in its birth, when fighters that have studied MMA since teenagers and that becomes the norm it'll be even better. I love boxing, but that sport is digging its own grave.

I agree, there are some great matches in MMA. But the percentage is very low. I am just not a fan of the ground game at all. I like toe to toe fighting, whether it is MMA or boxing. I grew up with boxing so I will always love the sport more than MMA. I still watch the UFC PPV's at local bars, they are entertaining, but only if both fighters are extremely skilled.

Kinda bummed. I thought Marquez beat Pacquaio again. I gave Marquez most of the rounds. Better punches, Pacquaio didn't win a decisive round, Pac got outsmarted. Floyd will run all over him.

The judge who scored it 116-112 should never be allowed to score a fight ever again.

I watched the fight again this morning, and I scored it 116-112...for Marquez. It was even more definitive the second time. Horrible decision last night.

If I was Pac, I would just fight Bradley or fight Marquez again. No point in fighting Mayweather except if you're broke.

Yeah, based on Mayweather vs Marquez and Pacquiao v Marquez, it's safe to say that Mayweather would destroy Pacquiao.

It's pretty stupid to use such "boxing math" since alot of factors gets put in, the style of the fighters, the condition of the fighters at that exact day etc etc.. But yeah, I have no doubt Mayweather would win, he is on another level.

I like how you said it's impossible to predict a fight based on such factors as the condition of the fighter on the night, but then contradicted yourself by predicting that Mayweather would win. :psy

Obviously we're assuming that a fighter is in at least as good a shape as he was in his last fight. Also, my "boxing math" takes a little more into consideration than just "fighter A did better against that opponent than fighter B, therefore fighter A would obviously beat fighter B." Pacquiao has trouble with good counter-punchers like Marquez. And what is Mayweather known for? Supreme defense and counter-punching. He's also faster and more precise. Sure, anything can happen in a fight, but, on paper, Mayweather has exactly what it takes to beat Pacman.

Exactly what I've said for years on this stupid debate. Pac has become a bit tighter as a fighter, but it's solving one problem by creating another, at least as far as Mayweather is concerned.

When Pac was a wild flurry of punches, he left himself completely open to being obliterated by someone like Mayweather, but during this time... Floyd himself flat out said he would likely lose as he can't dodge that many punches.

Now? He might leave himself less open to retaliation(still a disaster), but he's lost that E. Honda insanity. I may not like Floyd, the person, a damn bit, but you'd have to be a serious Pac fanboy to think the fight could go any other way.

Entertaining fight, wasn't anywhere near as good as the first. But what a chin on Wolak. The 10th round was vicious.

BRANDON RIOS NEXT FUCK. Star in the making. Hope he gets a KO.

Rios looked real good. I'm glad Cotto won, he's looking sharp, good move going with this coach. Sad it was stopped because of a shut eye, but man Margarito is a tough son of bitch

Man, Cotto looked great, definitely better that he switched trainers. Totally owned Margarito, but he has to give some credit to Pacquaio for that stoppage.

I don't agree with HBO in not giving Margarito credit for his power. He landed far fewer punches than the first fight with a closed eye, and still did a lot of damage to Cotto.

Mexico destroyed Puerto Rico this year, but this fight prolly made up for the previous bouts.

The MVA tells the rest of the world to fuck off. So happy for Lamont. Can't wait to see Seth Mitchell again.

Also lol @ Khan saying he was fighting a clean fight. Pushing off with forearms and elbows is definitely illegal and he was holding so much. Way to lose more fans in your post-fight interview too.

DC chillin'. Fuck off British cunt.

Bute / Froch would be a good fight. Home and home would make it even sweeter. Looking forward to those, hopefully the deal goes through. Also looking forward to Klitschko / Chisora next month. Don't get me wrong, I love the Klitschko brothers, I love their style, I love their personality and how they are very humble... But I would like to see one of them dethroned. I really wanted to see Adamek beat Vitali and set himself up for a match with Wladimir.

lmao, thats awesome. I hope this fight happens just for entertainment purposes. I really would love to see Pac destroy Mayweather... I truly hate Floyd, but after watching Pac in his last fight with Marquez, I believe Mayweather would win the bout. Time will tell... Pacquiao has to take this fight if Mayweather is going public like that. If not it would tarnish his image immensely.

Thats why I said "wanted". I truly thought Tomasz had what it took to take on Vitali, but he didn't stand a chance. I just love Adamek's persistence. If Vitali disposed of him that easily, Wladimir would destroy him. I just would have liked it to play out that way. Tomasz beating Vitali and then facing off with Wladimir which is what would have happened had Adamek won that bout.

These brothers may retire with their belts. I've always rooted for them, but the heavyweight division is just getting boring with them owning everyone. It is just so hard to hate them with their attitudes. They're very respectable people.

Apparently the Manny camp is saying May 5th is a no go. MGM Grand could only bring in 20 million for the fighters to split. Word is, Pacquiao wants to have the fight at some outdoors site that would bring in an extra 30 million for the fighters to split. Thats just what I have heard, I have no literature to back that up.
