You can find the 4 packs for as little as 8 bucks at a supermarket.

$6.50 at a store close by me. Not sure if the cans come in bigger packs or not. I know the bottles come in 24 packs.

I had my Young's Double Chocolate Stout last night. Very delicious, will be buying more.

I've never seen anything bigger than the 4-packs. I guess you could get a case, and get six 4-packs :-P

Yea as I said before, the Youngs is very good, especially when eating a rich dessert. The chocolate from the dessert doesn't exactly mute the chocolate in the stout, but it somehow enhances it without making it more prominent.

So when I was in Jamaica, I had Red Stripe. It reminds me of Canadian.

I believe cases of Guinness cans are 10 or 12 beers. The only place I've seen them is at CostCo or Sam's. I think I remember 8 packs used to be available at some grocery stores.

So the new Market Street, which is an upscale grocery market similar to Wegman's in the northeast, near my work opened up and I went to view the beer and wine selection at lunch today. Freaking phenomenal. I saw a lot of Belgian and Belgian-style ales that I have yet to try, but am saving those for later as I picked up two Stone Brewery selections, their Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale (have not had the Oaked version of this yet) and their Ruination IPA, which is advertised to have an IBU rating of 100+. Is this awesome? Y/N?

Oh, I also got a 375 mL bottle of Nigori (unfiltered) Sake. Sake is way cheaper in grocery stores than at the restaurants, it seems.

Frizzle, I really don't get Red Stripe (or Corona, Sol, etc.). Why do they try to make German style lagers in locations where the temperature is incredibly less than ideal for lager yeast?

Would this work with any 5L keg, you think? [ame="http://www.amazon.com/BeerTender-Heineken-Krups-B95-Beer-Tap/dp/B00132J8RA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1232789042&sr=1-2"]Amazon.com: BeerTender from Heineken and Krups B95 Home Beer-Tap System: Home & Garden[/ame]

Well, it becomes immeasurable because of the common formula used, but it is physically possible.

Sure enough though, that is what Stone says on their site: http://www.stonebrew.com/ruin/

Last night, me and a few friends went to a pub that's 5 minutes walk from my house. It has a microbrewery in the basement, and the bar had a load of their own ales on tap, plus a great selection of other local ales.

    So good :D

I drank a couple of them tonight for the first time. It's a lot like regular Arrogant Bastard, but more subtle. I'd like to say it's slightly sweeter? I probably shouldn't have drank that bottle of sake before having one. I'll report back this week when I have one as the first thing I drink.

Sam Adams White Ale is absolutely delicious.

Boulevard Wheat is a good choice too.

I drank a full six pack of Michelob Ultra Pomegranate today.

It had a nice flavor to it, but man it was way too fucking light. I never liked regular Michelob or Michelob light, but at least this one had a decent flavor.

Boulevard just started to be sold down here a little while back and I think it's pretty good stuff. I had the 12 pack sampler of 6 different varieties which I would assume encompasses most of their line, and nothing was bad and most of it was at least above average.

You may as well just get some Smirnoff Ice pomegranate, if you're going to drink a girly drink may as well embrace it completely :>

Yeah, I have hesitated to buy it about 5 times because I know that I've enjoyed Honey Wheat beers before, but I just don't know if I trust the sound of Honey Lager that much.

It's the sound of Michelob you should be wary of.

Those Michelob craft collection beers aren't that bad. The Winter Bourbon Cask Ale was actually pretty good.

i have to agree with bacong on this... even if we give him the prices... prices vary due to the market, though not by much. first he would need to find a store that sells it.. then give them a call... its that easy. personally i dont know the prices of the stuff i buy... i just buy it...
