Multiplayer looks better, but I'm cautious about the single-player -- they said they were making it more of a drama than the first one, less comedy. Fuck that. Waiting for someone to .gif that first trailer.
Dude, the battlefield series is made purely for multiplayer! I got part 1 the day it came out, and I haven't gotten past like the 2nd level on the single player.
I agree that it took too many shots to kill a guy, but it wasn't that bad. I can kill 4 people with one clip from the M16. But as you've seen from the videos, they have improved on that.
I wish they'd stop making these shitty BF games and work more on the real ones so they come out earlier.
Because anything EA touches somehow sells despite everything they touch turning to shit. I realise this may be a generalisation BF was an average game, not a lot more and it sold just because there arent many modern day set FPS games out and COD4 threw that market wide open.
It's so stupid to compare console games and PC games. It's pretty freakin' obvious to everybody that PC's have leaps of more power than consoles.

Exactly. Team based console games just dont work on the same level as they do on the PC. That said, this looks fun and Ill probably buy it.

Nice. I think the knife is my favorite thing about BF2. On those closed city levels...nobody expects a madman to zigzag at you through a smoke grenade.
Will get this when it hits PLatinum (as I did with the first one). Loved the campaign, tho a little too short. I'm planning on giving in a spin on hard difficulty this X mas
I've always said this, so I'll say it again... Call of Duty is good, but FUCK Call of Duty. Bad Company shit on COD4, and Bad Company 2 will shit on COD4 part 2. COD4 is just a user-friendly main stream first person military shooter that everybody and their mom plays.
Pre-order for PS3 and you'll be in the MP beta. PC beta starts in December and there will be a demo (I think for all platforms) in January.
bad company can also only be played with a controller, so try telling hardcore fps players that it's not just another military shooter that coddles you with auto-aim.

What does playing with a controller have to do with anything? All Xbox 360 games are played with a controller.
