Anyone love the shit out of this thing too? http://supergiantgames.com/ Beat it recently, pretty awesome game. I combined two of the songs from the OST to make this track: http://k003.kiwi6.com/hotlink/fkm9dok391/mother_i_m_here_setting_sail_coming_home.mp3 Awesome! No spoilers in the track, but if you don't want to hear music from game you can skip it!
Yeah I just got it a few days ago. Enjoying it a lot. God dammit, I wish i knew about the steam version before I bought it for shitbox shitsixty
PC has many advantages, no doubt, but I don't see how it would be better to play a simple three-four button action-RPG.
well, when xbla goes down in a firey blaze of irrelevance, he can still download the game he paid for on steam. also bttr grffx lol
Two pretty fucking shitty reasons and partial trolling, so I'll just accept that there isn't really any good reason to prefer this on PC if one has a 360. Unless you have a personal preference for some minute things.
Why is better graphics a shitty reason? Obviously, a game's quality should not be determined by mostly the graphics, but when every thing else is identical, including being able to use a game pad, why not get the version with a higher resolution?
Yes if you have a nice big TV/monitor and you use a gamepad and installation is smooth and you lay on a couch it is as good an experience, just like most other games, but most people don't do this. Also, this isn't a graphically intensive game, so I can't see there being much of a difference at all on PC, and whatever difference there is won't really change how enjoyable it is I think, since its more arty than graphicy.
So there really isn't any reason someone should choose one over the other at all regardless the fact that the person buying it has a 360
I plug a HDMI cable from my TV into my PC and use a gamepad on the couch for games like this. I want it for PC because then I can also play it on my laptop while I'm out of town.
Apparently the PC version is DRM free too, so install away! I wonder if that also means I could just copy the files out of the steam directory.
This game is pretty decent and all, however I came across a bug in the game that wouldn't let me progress. As I approached a character looking over the side of a ledge at the very end of a level, something messed up with the game and I couldn't move or see my character on screen. Pretty annoying and I couldn't even be arsed to play the level again (it's the one were you get the musket).
This game was just plain gorgeous, music, artwork, story, style. Everything about it was right on, best spent $15 for a game in a looooong while.
I'm probably halfway through it, not sure. Collected half a dozen cores or so, feels a little monotonous though. Narration is baller.
I got to the wilderness parts then stopped playing. I kinda wanna finish it, regardless, but I just haven't been playing many games lately.
