Earlier Misery Signals material is pretty damn tough-guy music.

Sexual Man Chocolate has been my favorite so far. The newest one posted would be good if it wasn't for the really gay dance part.

Holy shit I agree with ubar.

Song had me hooked until there. Even the dance part was ok until that happened.

New songs sound like Emmure having sex with The Devil Wears Prada.

God, this band still remains a joke, even if they got marginally better.

That remix of Sleep With One Eye Open is fantastic, and easily the best thing on Cut Up.

after listening to those, i still find nothing wrong with the dubstep part in the song. or anything in the song. anyone who is annoyed at it has a stick up their ass.

well the fact it is just thrown in there and has no point in the song whatsoever. Also comes in after that shit dancey part.

Its scary to think if they cut out a lot of the gimmicks in their sound and incorporated the dance bits better they could actually be pretty good.

Yeah but the full length has way to many breakdowns and is pretty sloppy. Like Leaps & Bounds starts off and I'm like holy shit this is awesome and then the keyboard starts and I'm like holy shit this is really awesome and then it does and awesome melodic bit and it fits perfectly with the riff but then it just cuts to a breakdown for no reason, ruining what could have been a great song. Album never recovers.

    So yeah

Perspectives was average. Didn't even go and see them when they came in Feb because I was too disappointed. Tour in september last year was incredible with MJK though. They shouldn't have recorded in the US, they should have spent more time making it good here.

It amazes me that this abortion of a genre seems to be more commercially viable than actual metal. Then again, hip hop exists, so what do I know.
