http://redd.it/raqvy dude who plays steve holt doing an AmA right now hasn't answered my question yet
"just want to say you were my favorite part of this series and my friend and i quote you all the time" Him? Guy seems down to earth and cool though.

The real news from that article is that the entire season will be available from the get-go instead of waiting for one per week.
Yeah I wouldn't ever put that news at higher importance than the possibility of more episodes. I wouldn't have minded at all waiting for an episode a week. But it's still pretty cool that we'll get it all at once.
"Movie might not happen" and "maybe more episodes" have been news items for this show for about 5 years.
But surely the mere fact that we're getting new episodes already means there's significantly more realistic hope for a continuation, depending of course on how popular the new episodes are.
God dammit can't you just be happy? Everyone has been talking about the MOVIE for the past 5 pages, even though, yes, we weren't 100% sure that was going to happen. Now we might even get more than that. Horowitz directly said that he was leaning towards a movie. Hearing that he's now leaning more towards a 5th and 6th season is even better news.
Focusing on one character at a time would have been stupid considering what an amazing ensemble this is.
As far as I've heard doing that solved a lot of the scheduling issues initially so they could clear time later to film the movie together
ever since they announced that it was happening, ive begun to think that they are reanimating the dead when it is well-past decomposition. re-watching this, Im aware that american comedy has changed in the short (6 years) time since it was canceled. I also am quite satisfied with the ending. It seems to me that people are more upset that a show didnt get proper recognition rather than it got a proper ending. which, upon re-watching, I am pretty satisfied with the ending we got. I think that the actors are all different people with different egos than they were before and the movie or season or whatever is going to be a typical forced fan-service that we will all soon want to forget.
I loved the ending. But I felt like they had been planning on it ending the way it began all along, and when they learned that they were getting cut, they worked it in. It's a damn shame that it got cancelled early. I'm scared of it becoming the forced fan-service that you think it will but I'm hoping you're wrong.
I'm excited because all of these super talented people are working together again, we're no worse off if it's all terrible, and we're way better off if only one episode is good.
i think hurwitz & co are smart enough to know the position they're in, and that they want to deliver a great product to the fans of the series. hopefully i am right and they're not just cashing in on the immense popularity the show now has (comparatively speaking to when it was on-air). i don't think the cast involved would come back for something that they didn't think was going to be awesome.
isnt half of the cast in need of good work since their respective series didnt catch on (probably because they were too edgy)? and the other half fresh out of seth rogan college-humor flick parts? ACTOR PULL
I know what you're saying, and I'm trying to not be a negative dick, but my point is this: is Netflix going to fully-fund season 4 of "catch up" episodes AND two additional seasons? Last we heard, they were finishing the script for the movie, PLUS it was going to be 2-3 months tops of straight filming and then the actors could move on. How are they going to get this entire cast together for another 2 seasons after the catch-up season? Will S5 and S6 also be focused on individuals, because I don't think I can watch 40+ eps like that. I'm just worried that this is step 1 in a 4-step process that ends in a mediocre 10-ep "catch-up season" and then nothing more ever happens. Guess what, this is still happening as "season 4".
Fucking awesome. And as much as I've wanted a movie all this time, it was only because they kept alluding to it. I would far rather have at least one more great season with the whole cast throughout. We don't even know if the show would work in movie format.
Seems stupid to only do 10 episodes for "season 4" if it's NOT a catch-up thing. Still, glad to see it clarified.
