It's all about the british english for me. It sounds a lot more serious/mature, and it can be incredibly sexy when spoken by a female. (i know, too many comedy options, got carried away a bit)
Heh, that's only those crazy western Canadians. Us Newfies have a nice bastardization of British English, Scottish, Irish and French accents rolled into a giant Fuckball of awesome, b'y.
I generally prefer american, as long as it isn't some awful thick southern accent or something. It's what I grew up hearing the most, I think. It's much clearer and understandable than UK english. British accent can sound pretty cool though, or really sexy, when spoken by a lovely female. Can't stand scottish accent though, holy hell that hurts them ears...
I prefer american, but there are a lot of british dialects that beat any american ones in terms of sexiness and such.
British English. For queen and country, and so forth. Really, though, some American English expressions sound genuinely cringeworthy, especially when coming from leading political figures. The whining nasal accent, constant unnecessary use of the word "like" and the backward expression "I could care less" also irk me.
I actually mix and match them both. For example, I think color is better than colour, but judgment is the stupidest thing ever. Judgement all the way (lol, firefox thinks thats misspelled).
