I still like all those albums quite a bit (even though I overlistened TVOTR a bit), except Absolution.
Ask yourself this question: "Did Tom Waits release an album this decade?" If the former is a yes, then the answer should come naturally.
yeah, that's the one that made me feel weird and uncomfortable (coming from you!). thing is, though, it's been quite a while since I've listened to that album, and I don't think I like it either.
um do that now I suggest listening on shuffle to maximize stylistic diversity, given its presentation.
alas, as much as i love you ben this is where we must part and say farewell. for i believe there is NO competition also i still haven't heard feedbacker properly through yet SORRY T__T
as much as I'd love to be Mary, Mary So Contrary in this ITT, I think lift your skinny faggots has my vote too. There are albums from this decade that I enjoy more and listen to more often, but that album is monumental

Haha none of you will like this choice, Avantasia- The Wicked Trilogy (can't separate the opera by individual albums).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avantasia If you like clean vocals, its a 3 album opera with literally almost every one the best clean metal vocalists . Insanely good story too, each vocalist represents a different character that carries throughout the whole thing.
Actually I just realized one of my favourite metal albums of the decade is a three part metal opera lol
Top 13 : Between the Buried and Me - Colors Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos Metallica - Death Magnetic Nightwish - Century Child Opeth - Blackwater Park Pain of Salvation - The Perfect Element I Porcupine Tree - Deadwing Porcupine Tree - In Absentia Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun Pure Reason Revolution - The Dark Third Symphony X - The Odyssey norbert88
it's amazing really how kzk blows every other one of the albums posted in this thread completely out of the water
Well it is my second favourite album of the decade produced by asia (the continent). Bet no-one can pick my favourite!
Those albums would be in my Top 15-20, I was trying to cut it down to 10 but I couldn't so I stopped at 13. norbert88
BT - This Binary Universe Joanna Newsom - Ys Tool - Lateralus Meh. I don't hold many albums higher than others, but these 3 are somewhere near the top.
Oh Jane Doe is easily my favourite overall. I meant I bet no-one can guess my favourite asian album of the decade.
