I'm definitely interested to see how much influence MP had in this group.

I've heard things about Mike Orlando. Douchey things, to be exact.

Seeing someone like Russell Allen waste his talents on "classic rock covers" would be such a huge disappointment.

I think it would be very entertaining to see him cut lose and have some fun with some classic rock covers. It's not like he's quitting Symphony X to join a cover band. Personally, I'd love to see him rock a few Dio classics like Stargazer or Signs of the Southern Cross. I don't think that's wasting his talent at all.

This is really not a band particularly benefited by Portnoy's presence. He doesn't have the groove to make them sound the way they ought to. I'm stoked to hear Rich and Russ though, that's dynamite. Rich hasn't really worked with any powerhouse vocalists in the past, so that facet should be gold.

when will guitarists learn that shredding used to be cool and impressive in the 90s but now everyone and their grandma can do it, so you might as well write something that doesn't suck and isn't riddled with unnecessary wank? Some sick riffs in there. Production sounds bland. The last song will be my favorite. Predicting at least 150 squealies per song.

Production/mix sounds pretty poor. Still somewhat interested to hear the final product...

Not as bad as I was expecting. However, I remember being REALLY pumped about the BC&SL teaser only to be let down when the album leaked....

Judging by the teaser, I predict the band will be marginally better than Hellyeah and marginally worse than Chickenfoot.
