So I posted an ad on craigslist like a week ago saying I wanted to find a women who wants to make babies, and I got a response to it today from some chick that says she is tired of meeting guys that never want kids or want to wait 10 years. Should I see where this goes? She is only 23, though... kinda on the young side. She's not even fat, either, which is surprising.

Why would a girl not want to add someone on Facebook? (My situation is obviously a lot more complicated than that, but I'm just wondering) Pretty much everyone I know adds people on Facebook all the time, even if they don't really know them that well, I don't know why you wouldn't add someone unless they were a complete stranger or something..

(I've been talking to the girl in question pretty much the entire semester, we have class together twice a week, etc.)

I finally asked them about it this week and they were like "oh, you added me on Facebook? Well I don't really use or check Facebook that much.." But since I first added them they've added several other friends, so its not like they haven't seen the friend request. I don't know if they really didn't know I added them or if they were just acting like that because they didn't really want to add me. But I removed the request and readded them and apparently they rejected it, so I have no idea..

TL;DR: Stupid Facebook, stupid women.

There are plenty of times I don't add peole on my facebook, even if I do talk to them at work or school. Just because I'm pleasant toward them doesn't mean I want them to know everything about me that's on facebook.

If I was in this situation maybe a year ago I wouldn't have done anything.

I'm also sick of being an unaggressive nice guy that never gets anywhere. Played that role all my life. Women don't seem to be attracted to that.

Apparently it took them both over a year (not sure exactly) until they had sex. So I really don't think she is lying.

OK I better share another major detail about the girl... She is plays in the same band as me. Another reason I hate the bf is because he forces her not to go to band practice and not to spend time with the band in general. We all feel the same way about him (except her...sort of). I think lately she said to him that the band has a higher priority than him to her ROFL. What a douche. I say fuck him. He cannot handle his drink in the slightest and everytime he gets drunk he is 3 times as bad, i probably mentioned that in my last post. If he wasn't such an emo bastard I bet he would beat her up instead of threatening suicide all the time.

It's pretty funny considering she seems to actually like me because 'I'm a nice guy' (they are her type apparently), but the going behind her bf's back is one of the least nicest things I could do.

Finally, I'm really trying not to think about this and I guess I'm still pretty undecided about the whole situation.

Oh of course it is destructive, but It's so much more than just sex for me. I want to be close to her. Sometimes it feels as if all the sex talk is just keeping her interested and for her enjoyment. I don't want to sit on the sideline anymore when I might be close to something. To feel a connection like this is 1 thing that I have been missing in my life. She might actually be the first girl that likes me for who I am (although there are certainly many details she doesn't know about me yet) and is still attracted to me after having known me this long. I have been more open with her that with anyone in real life in a lonnggggg time. She feels like she can talk to and trust me (which isn't new for me..), but added by the fact that she is attracted to me makes it something I really don't want to miss. We have a good bit in common too and I know she wouldn't get that sick of my nerdish ways (considering her current bf is a total nerd).
My ideal result would be to be with her for as long as I can, finish univerisity and move with her to a different country (US), along with the rest of our band.

It's all very complicated, and I hate it. Very unhealthy, that's why I'm trying not to think about her so much. I do not want to get my hopes up, when most likely she will fuck off back to her boyfriend and the sexual tension within a band environment will always linger on.

I just mentioned that I added them and I was wondering if they knew about it or if they had some reason for not accepting. But now that they've rejected it, I don't know if I would ask them why, it seems poor to add them again, which would just be annoying or something..

"new and exciting" always seems like the greatest thing and you've met someone special. You haven't, and it won't go well. I've seen it too many times, things like this CAN NOT go any other way. You don't really have a special connection with this person.

Yeah it's pretty likely that it won't work out, but at least now I won't let myself hurt and shit like that. I'll be pretty prepared to be let down. Unlike in the past when I was quite naive and blind to what was probably going on in my gf's mind (I thought she was perfect, but turned out to be a lying whore). And if it does go completely pear shaped then I'm sure we will make friends again (once we are past any awkwardness or whatever) as we pretty much have to hang out with each other.

I'm feeling really empty right now. Completely unfulfilled. Almost liked I've piqued in terms of relationships. I was in a fwb relationship with a girl from Dec-Aug. Our relationship ended mutually, we even set the date we broke up on a month in advance. Now in these past couple weeks I'm realizing more and more how good I had it. This girl was hot, sexy, hilarious, and ridiculously smart. And now I look around and I realize how few girls can actually compare to her. At school, just physically there is only one girl out of the 100+ in my classes that is on her level. And I'm sure that girl doesn't posess all the qualities of my ex on a personal level. I'm probably putting her on a pedestal that she doesn't deserve, but I just can't stop thinking about how amazing she is. Even the bad times we had in our relationship I just ignore or make it seem like she did no wrong. I'm starting to worry the rest of my life it will only be downhill from here which sounds dumb but is really how I feel. Gahh!
