Fuck, I hate when you write a big long epic well-written post and then you accidentally click 'Back' and lose it all.

General topics of said post included how it's results day for me, how I have many decisions to make, how it's ironic that after not posting regularly at 5/8 for so long I decide to post here this morning, and how I'm going to consume many drinks and cigars tonight.

Also, everybody should check out the band Talons. They're everything you could ever wish for (if you're into epic post-math-rock, that is). Think Sigur Ros meets Led Zepplin? They have ex-Yndi Halda members. Saw them live the other night, incredible.

Didn't see a single shit band, absolutely awesome.

A highlight was Faith No More, both due to the inevitable amazingness and the fact they were the last band of the weekend we saw. The Gaslight Anthem, Dananananaykroyd, Brand New, The Bronx (+Mariachi El Bronx), Alexisonfire (twice), Rise Against, Municipal Waste, 65daysofstatic were fucking incredible, Lostprophets, Chase&Status, The Qemists, Placebo, Manchester Orchestra, and Minnaars were also all mint, with Tim Minchin being an added hilarious bonus.

Also fun is having decided what I'm doing with my life now - most likely going to Leeds uni (normal uni) for Music, unless my A2 re-marks are good in which case I'll hopefully go for music with maths, in which I got an A. fuck yeah

You should check it out. Some awesome bands playing this year.

I always forget how easy it is to accidentally waste like an hour on this forum. I could be making such better use of my free time right now, like learning a language, or practicing my cooking, or getting wasted.
