Sup guys. I'll league manage. We'll probably play on ESPN unless you want some really wacky features they don't support.

Say if you'll join, PM me your email address (or just post it here) if so.

    Some options to consider:

    Snake draft vs Auction draft
    PPR vs regular
Which positions to use (i.e. standard roster, or futz with the available slots on a team, add a defensive player slot, etc)
Various scoring preferences (points for return yardage, big plays, etc)

We've got some time to decide since the season doesn't start for another 5 weeks.

you'd be absolutely totally out if it was auction? after doing Snake for a few years I wanted to try something new. maybe this isn't the right crowd. I guess we need more feedback from people ITT.

Snake is where you draft in order and then it reverses back to the top, right? Do that.

right, just saying that's the vast majority of fantasy drafts and the only kind I've done. I wasn't sure if people were up for something new. Auction stresses your limited resources and the actual value of players much more, and de-stresses your actual position in the draft (which is random), and also makes you think more about which player transactions/pickups you make during the season.

    just a thought.

Team LOL up in this. (just made an amazing logo btw check it out :lol)

last season was my first PPR and I absolutely loved it. Prefer snake auction because I am afraid of change and new things.

it sounds pretty overwhelming in favor of snake auction. guess we'll go with that.

any other thoughts on PPR? It makes WRs about equal with RBs instead of having the draft and scoreboards determined by who got the best RBs.

I prefer no PPR but it isn't a game breaker for me, I can work with either.

We'll leave this thing open for new people to see if we can fill out to 10 until sometime in late-ish August, otherwise we'll do 8 peeps. As long as we draft before the first game of the season it's all good.

Assuming you mean the 5th-9th, what about the prior week (Aug 29-Sep 2) or the weekend in between?

I'll be on a road trip from Sept 1-10, and don't know yet when/where my stops will be. I guess as long as it's in the evening on a weekday (not the 8th though) I'll figure out a way to do it. But I'll officially make my vote for Sunday August 28 (is that too early?)

Sure. I'll get an invite out to you today.

We're up to 10 (once Destructo Spin joins). If any more 5/h8ers wanna play, we can bump it to 12.
